Keltec P11 9mm. I got this in a trade from a member here, and I just cant get used to carrying something like this. I still miss my LCP . Its a great gun, and the previous owner was extremely good with mantaining it, but I have got to get something smaller that I am more used to carrying.
It has the box/papers, Wild Bills holster, and 4 mags with pinky extensions on them. The gun is in good shape with carry and shooting wear, but still shoots well.
Asking $275 for the package or trade for an LCP.

S&W Victory 10 in .38 Special. I had some help ID'ing the gun, and letting me know what it is. It looks to be in very good shape, and works great mechanically. The gun was apparently a 4" to begin with, and got cut down to a 2" model after WWII by the importer, so its now a snubby. I was hoping it was a collector, but its not. However, it is still a very nice M&P Model 10 .38. Comes with holster.
Asking $250obo for this one.
S&W 645 Stainless chambered in .45 ACP. Gun is in perfect working order, and looks to be shot very little. It does have some holster and carry scratches (minor) however, as I believe this was a PD gun. One 8rnd mag included.
Asking $400obo for this one.
I will take $550 for both. These need to be a FTF sale in Youngsville, or Raleigh, NC. Not really looking for trades unless its a LCP or CCW 9mm.

For Sale
26'' Remington 870 Express Super Mag, Synthetic Stock.
Bought this gun last year for 400, thinking I was going to have time to duck hunt and skeet shoot. Well that never happened. Put less than 100, 2 3/4'' rounds through it, all shooting clays. This gun is in excellent shape and has been cleaned after each shoot and periodically when not being shot. Will provide pictures if interest, just don't have time now. Comes with gun sock and I think i have a box of clays i'll throw in.

This is a copy/paste from another forum on the gun I have ^^
1978 Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 mag. This is a VERY nice older single action. Excellent trigger pull, smooth operation. I touched up the bluing and gave it a good cleaning, and fed the grips some Howards wood conditioner. Probably less than 100rnds since new.
This thing is scary accurate. At 50yrds I hit a 1L water bottle 3 out of 3 times with only my truck door as a rest. It shoots great, and has surprisingly plesant recoil. The gun comes with a set of rubber grips, and the factory wood. Also comes with a holster, and possibly 6 rounds of ammo (if I dont decide to shoot that).
I would be asking $390obo. I would be accepting no trades unless its greater in value than this. FTF in the Youngsville/Raleigh/Briar Creek Area. I will ship on your dime.

Savage 93 Stainless Steel. Gun has a 5rnd mag. Has less than 100rnds down the tube. I polished up the trigger a bit, and now its a pleasant 4lb or so pull, and is perfect for hunting. In great shape, looks brand new.
I sighted it in with the scope on it, and it did a 1 hole group at 50yrds, and *almost* less than an inch at 100. Scary accurate.
The gun will come with whatever ammo I have left. Probably 100-150rnds of CCI/Winchester. I can also include some sort of scope. I have the scope on it that I will include for $40 extra, I have a Weaver CK4 4x38 that I can include for $80 extra. I have a little 4x32 Bushnell I can include for $25 extra.
Asking $250 for the gun/ammo, plus whatever scope you may want (if any). These are $260 or so new, without ammo. FTF in Youngsville/Raleigh. No trades unless its for a .17 or another bolt/lever .22

Brandon1 All American 1630 Posts user info edit post |
^$250 is the lowest I will go. I have allot of $200-$235 offers, with the justification that "they are $250 on gunbroker.com". Just as a tip (not trying to be an ass), on Gunbroker you may get $250, but then you have a $20 or so shipping fee, a 3% upcharge for using a credit card, and a $25 FFL fee, and then you have to buy a 2 more mags ($30 each), 4 pinky extensions ( $8 x 4), and a holster ($59.95). This, by my calculations, rings up to $453.95. Yes my setup is used, however saving $200 over new is enough justification of my price.
Also, Went to a few shops in the area today, P11's are running $260 or so, + tax and etc (mags, pinky extensions, holster).
$275 was fair, $250 is extremely fair. If not that, its off to consignment tomorrow, no biggie. 12/21/2010 5:06:34 PM |

going to get my first permit within a couple of weeks...having a really hard time figuring out what handgun i want to get with it...everything ive seen says i should go for a 1911 of some sort, any suggestions? 12/22/2010 10:21:04 AM |

haha well what are you going to use it for... i see nothing wrong with a 1911, except for the fact that it is not a cheap first gun. is this going to be for home protection? eventually to carry?
I always suggest polymer frame semiauto's for a first gun (See: sig, glock, s&w, etc...) in 9mm... it gets the job done, doesn't break the bank to shoot, and most guns can hold a good amount of ammo when in using a double stack configuration 12/22/2010 10:28:05 AM |

^^^ Go shoot a 1911, and then shoot some other modern "tactical" pistols (Glock, SIG, etc). You'll know if you're a 1911 guy...it's a significantly different pistol.
Personally, I love hammering targets with my 1911 at the range, but I'd rather have a SIG any day to carry for self-defense. Also, a plain-jane "GI spec" 1911 isn't that expensive, but it isn't that cool, either (you can hot-rod it over time, but you'll end up spending about as much as just buying a nice one). I really don't see much point in a 1911 unless you spent a good bit of money and get a nice one. 12/22/2010 11:01:23 PM |

I'm with Duke on the 1911. I'll own another one someday, but I'm trying to keep my collection trim right now and it just isn't all that great (anymore) as a defensive firearm.
Owning a 1911 is like owning a Harley. Sure it looks cool as shit, but you're paying a lot of money and going to be doing a lot of maintenance on something that simply isn't as effective as the competetion. 12/23/2010 7:56:03 AM |

whats with all the hate for the 1911... i shoot a lil of everything. as mentioned there are some other good guns, sigs are one of my favorite. Keep in mind the 1911 has never gone out of production in the last 100 years, that should say something for the design. As for the polymer guns... they have their place, but i prefer the alloy/metal frames. the only polymers i really care for are the H&K, Glocks and recently i've started shooting some from the FN line ( i really like the FNP-9). 12/23/2010 8:55:24 AM |

Quote : | "whats with all the hate for the 1911" | I don't think anyone is hating on the 1911 here, I just think we're arguing that it is a 100 year old design that has its flaws. I love the 1911 for what it is, but a Glock is a) cheaper, b) more reliable, c) carries more BBs and d) requires less maintenance.
I love a 1911 like I love a P-51 Mustang, but I wouldn't chose it for a dogfight against a MiG-29.
What I do take issue with is 1911 fan-boys who imply that anything less than a 1911 is insufficient as a gun. Which is why you get quotes like, "everything ive seen says i should go for a 1911 of some sort". This is the same crowd that will sell you a snubnose and tell you, "if you can't solve an engagement in 5 shots, you're the problem as the shooter."

Yeah, I love 1911s. I view my 1911, though, as first and foremost something that I drill paper targets with for recreation, that if I happened to get into a gunfight with, I could be pretty effective with. I mean, I keep it loaded with Gold Dots for home defense, but it's not what I keep on the nightstand, or what I keep in the closet that I'd take with me to investigate if something went bump in the night.
If I found myself in a gunfight with my 1911, I would by no means feel outclassed. It's accurate, and +P hollow points in .45 ACP are as adequate as any pistol round is going to be. That said, I'd rather have a SIG P226...it carries twice as much ammo, is still pretty damned accurate (although this is going to be an academic difference in most self-defense situations), and you don't have to carry it cocked and locked (which I, personally, don't like doing). Oh, and it's less finicky about ammo selection, being kept clean, etc...if you squeeze the trigger, the SIG will go bang and chamber the next round. 12/23/2010 10:16:59 PM |

Remington Woodsmaster 742 30-06. Unsure of the year. It has the basket-weave fore-end. Trigger is excellent, adjustable sights, sling swivels. 5rnd mag. Seems to have had very little use, and is in near perfect shape save for a tiny mark on the forend.
Asking $400 obo.
Marlin 336 CS in .35Rem. Looks to be a late 1990's. Great shape, looks to have had less than a box of shells run through it. Very clean, wood is very nice. Still has inspection tag on underside of fore-end.
Asking $300
Browning BL-22 Grade 1 ( I think ). Great little rifle, has a nice heft. Accurate, and short throw to keep you on target. Holds somewhere around 15rnds or .22LR. Metal is in great shape, and the rifle is very clean. The wood is still nice, however there are a few dings on the fore-end, a few dings on the right rear of the stock, and several scratches on the left rear of the stock (all shown in pics). Looks to have been shot very little, and maybe ridden around in the backseat of a truck or something.
Asking $300
