some of the calls with the refs i really didn't understand, mainly the ones after the plays where we would get a penalty for seemingly doing nothing

maybe it was just my viewing angle but it seemed like the refs did not want to give us an advantage in any way possible.

And could someone explain what happened with the whole Wallin/Valabik thing? I saw the hit, which looked clean, the next thing i saw was Valabik jerking on Wallin's neck and wrangling him around on the ice. How the fuck did Wallin get booted for that?

He got pissed at the hit and went after Corvo. Wallin came in to defend Corvo; I'm guessing Wallin was the 2nd man in.

^^pretty sure thats why he was booted.. for being 2nd man in.. but in his defense Valabik jumped Corvo from behind and Corvo was laying face down on the ground so Wallin had every right to step in... games like this are dangerous when the other team has nothing to play for. Hopefully we can keep everyone healthy and get the injured ones back before playoffs.

Third man in isn't an automatic game misconduct, but with three minutes left in a 7-1 game, there's no reason to keep any of the participants in the altercation in a position where they can wreak any more havoc.

i think the guy who attacked Corvo from behind should be suspended. I mean shit that's how someone gets hurt badly. They can't just suspend someone because someone got hurt, they have to do it for their intent and their actions. Collin Cambell is horrible at his job.
