What bullshit, I dont even watch soccer much, but there was 1 obvious pk missed call and that terrible yellow card. The dude would have scored.

+1

We looked much better once some of those subs came on. They upped their stock tonight.

Not a bad performance in the second half.

My untrained eye really likes Agudelo and especially his age. What are his long-term prospects? You'd think he'd get a look in Europe very soon.

I don't know, but he is under 23 and the Olympics are coming up in London next year. If we can get one of the 2 CONCACAF spots, he will have a great chance to perform in front of European scouts.

I don't know how somebody could dislike Klinsmann after watching that interview and seeing his goal celebration

Gotta love Klinsmann. Positive and upbeat, actually smiles and gets excited about the game. He's been there and knows what it's like to score goals and win games as a player. The US has needed someone like him to move the program forward.

Didn't even want to watch the second half after that pitiful first half. But damn, what a turnaround. Brek Shea was especially impressive.

Soccer would be a much more entertaining sport to watch if it didn't seem that the referees were always so fucking terrible.

I liked seeing Beckerman return, he brings good size to the midfield. Glad to see he still rocks the dreads too

I like the height and speed from Shea. He could be the big time finisher that we've been looking for in, oh, I don't know...FOREVER!!

He's got a Ronaldo-esque style to his play.

It would be awesome if he could fill that wing position because it would let Dempsey move up top full time and solve part of our striker problem.

I'm not sure. I did hear them talk about how Dos Santos likes to party and could be why he hasn't really worked out at Spurs so that might have been what you heard

^yeah, maybe that's who they were talking about. it was when shea was handling the ball, soon after he was subbed in.

^Yeah that did suck, but I think it was the second defender being there that prevented the red card. Not that he would have cut him off in time to prevent a shot.

yep, Dutch league is the perfect place for a young striker to get some confidence. I've seen videos of all of them and he's not scoring golazos or anything but goals are goals.

I was disappointed with no John too but he just moved to a new team and it'd probably be better for him to have as much time as possible to acclimate himself. I don't get why Larentowicz is necessary with Beckerman on the roster, they're the same player. Also I don't see what he sees in Castillo but whatever. Supposedly that Fabian Johnson is a huge get for us - he's been playing with German youth teams. I don't know much about him though.
