I meant "likeable" in the sense that he wasn't cast as a villain like Shane was.

Baby Judith has really lacked in character development so far. Even TDogg thinks she gets shafted in dialogue. This must mean she is getting the axe soon. She is bald.

So is this the first or second season with the new director/producer? Can definitely tell a difference either way

I don't see why everyone needs to die so much. I think Lori dying takes care of a major character going down (rip tdog). I can see another one going down with this shit with Governor most certainly, but I think people just die enough to make the show tense without making deaths super common and trivial.

i think either maggie or glenn is gonna get waxed next. they're the only ones left with a happy relationship each other. there can be no happiness during a zombie apocalypse.

I'd guess either Daryl or Hershel if you're looking for a likable main character to get killed off. Depending on how long they give him to develop, Axel is another option. They have been slowly working him into the group and he has tried to be helpful a few times already. Either way, the best chance is going to be when it becomes a full on fight between the two groups which seems to be coming pretty soon.

The scene with Axel and Beth gave me a glimmer of hope for exciting things to come next season.

Cool to see Tyrese finally. He isn't quite what I had imagined, but I'll take it.

How far along is the series relative to the comic? 1/3, 1/2, or is the comic still being drawn? Did the comic have an ending?

The comic still has a shit ton of stuff left. I would guess maybe 1/5?

I am not done reading the series, so I don't know if there is an end yet

No end in sight - it's up to #105 this month and still coming. I'd like to say more about the current plotline, but will refrain.

For anyone who is considering checking out the comics--Do it! I'm not even a comic book fan and I was a bit worried that the books would spoil the show, but my wife got me the first two compendiums on amazon for my birthday and I loved them. They might spoil mild plot developments, but I view them more as companion pieces. The show delves into much more detail in some parts and as has been mentioned, the characters aren't all the same either. They complement each other well IMO.

You don't have to buy them per issue unless you are trying to collect them or something. If you just want to read them, best deal is the compendiums on amazon which should bring you up to issue ~100

I am trying to to be the spoiler guy, but it alluded to a scene from the comics that was pretty badass. Chances are they won't show it like that though.

probably going to cancel my HBO until GOT comes back on. Girls/Enlightenment not worth the $12/month

I agree. I've been wondering what HBO is going to do to fill that time slot until GoT comes back in March. I mean in the summer they have True Blood, the fall they have Boardwalk, and the spring they have GoT. So why is there nothing good for the winter? HBO is $15.99 for DirecTV...tempted to cancel it for a few months...

A g/f made me watch that a few years ago. It's definitely the worst movie I've ever watched the whole way through. Some of it was okay, but the majority was uncomftortably painful. I didn't realize Maggie was too. I bet her accent is hot. What about the governor? He seems to be masking an accent sometimes too.

Just started listening to The Walking Deadcast. Pretty good podcast. In addition to a weekly discussion the also interview cast members and writers. The spoilers are kept to a very minimum during the discussion but they do have a comic discussion at the end that could contain spoilers. But they warn you ahead of time.
