There is no competition outside of UEFA that is the equivalent of the Euros. They play it every two years and it takes a backseat to the fucking Confederations Cup.

If they had some competition that combined CONCACAF and CONMEBOL then it might be worth watching. But that would benefit North American teams way more even though they would never win it.

Just read on the Spurs board that we're close to signing 18 year old Connor Wickham from Ipswich.

I didn't know much about him before, but google tells me that he could be an important player for England in the future. I'd be fine letting Defoe exit and sliding him in that spot.
