Witten @ Indy or Marcedes @ Tennessee

Colson @ Cincy or Amendola @ Arizona (return yards are heavily rewarded)

^^^^I think I would go with Garcon, as hard as that is to say. He was targeted I think 7 times last week, so Peyton is trying to get him the ball. Branch would be a good play if they werent playing the Jets defense. Ochocinco is like 1a to me as I think his numbers will be comparable to Garcon's, the Saints defense is decent and TO has been getting the ball so much more than Ocho its hard to trust him. It really is a toss-up between Garcon and Ocho to me.

I would start SJax against Arizona. I like Fred Jackson a lot, and think he'll have a good game, but the matchups drive this decision for me. Buf @ Minn is a lot worse than StL @ Ari

my turn - pick my 3 WR (we get 0.5ppr and 1pt per 20 receiving/rushing yards and 1pt per 30 return yards)

Dez Bryant @ Indy (looks like his very questionable with an ankle injury
Percy Harvin vs. Buf (hes questionable too with migraines)
Josh Cribbs @ Miami (oh look, hes questionable too)
Brandon Marshall vs. Cle (might not play and hasnt been much of a factor lately)
Malcolm Floyd vs Oak

all of these guys are questionable right now. I currently am starting Dez, Percy and Cribbs, but could easily swap in Marshall and/or Floyd.

one more - pick 2 (non-ppr, 1pt per 10 receiving yards, 1pt per 20 return yards):

Percy Harvin vs. Buf
Anquan Boldin vs. Pit
Santana Moss @ NYG
Malcolm Floyd vs. Oak
Sidney Rice vs. Buf

^I would go with Witten and Colston

floyd is risky because no one knows for sure how much he will actually play (but VJax is out so that helps). Marshall- well he is Brandon Marshall. Cribbs hasn't done shit for me this year (actually dropped him in one league) so I could start floyd or marshall over him without worry.

Tolbert v Oakland (Matthews is back and Tolbert has a hurt hand, but had a full practice on Friday)
McFadden v SD (hasn't done shit the last two weeks on the ground, but it is PPR and he has had some good yardage in the air)

^If your asking, I still think Tolbert vs. Oakland. He is almost always guaranteed at least 1 td.

I need to pick 3 to start at WR:

Percy Harvin
Hines Ward
Sidney Rice
Deion Branch
Steve Smith (CAR)

Thoughts?

Reggardless, I like Rice, Ward, and Branch

No return yards do not count. Just straight 10 yds = 1 pt receiving, and 6 pts for a receiving TD.

^^^ any reason you like Ward today? I left him out with Big Ben ailling and stingy Bal passD... its him vs. Blair White@Dal

I honestly like how ward picks it up when he needs to (and I think wallace will take away some pressure), and if Big Ben really is hurt, Batch is a suitable replacement to get it to ward.

I also don't like smith and if return yards don't count, Harvin is an iffy play for me (it is like playing hester)

Blair White is tough as Peyton hasn't been getting as many completions, and he is like Eli or Brees in that he throws it to whoever he can, no matter if it is his #1 receiver or 3rd string TE. I think he could have a big game, or he could have 1 catch for 15 yards

I guess you kinda have to have Harvin on your team to fully appreciate him, but he is much better than Hester. Hester is a returner who sometimes makes plays as a WR, Harvin is a WR who sometimes makes plays as a returner.

but either way, HARVIN IS OUT THIS WEEK

just saw it listed

I will say, he probably does more for them than Hester, but he is still a return/wr guy IMO

I just think that Rice is gonna have his break out week since his return

Ricky Williams vs Cle?

Two decisions that will come down heavily to weight of injuries:

Floyd or Fitzgerald or Branch?

Tolbert or Westbrook or McFadden?

Floyd is Q
S. Moss has high winds to deal with
R. Moss is useless at this point
Ford is inconsistent

I'd prob go with S. Moss and Garcon but that is tough to choose

Choose 1 to start

S. Rice (harvin is out)
S. Moss vs NYG in bad weather
M. Floyd vs OAK but is Q

holy hell, Sidney Rice already has two TDs today. I started him in one league and benched him in another ( have Roddy White, Greg Jennings and Santonio Holmes in that league so I wouldnt have started Rice there anyway)

also, midway through the first set of games and I'm already winning 109-30 in one league

SEA's overall D has more points because of special teams TDs

Floyd and Tolbert are a go. Floyd should be a good play (assuming he can get a decent workload) with Jackson out, and has definite upside. I'm playing him over Fitzgerald.

I may play Tolbert over McFadden just because I feel like he could still have a huge day and my win is pretty much sealed already (going for points).

Derek Anderson looks very bad in Arizona.

Rice if you want reliable. Floyd if you want a chance at a huge day.

[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 4:06 PM. Reason : overall I would pick Rice, especially until Floyd proves he is all the way back]

I'm leaning towards Rice as well but he did terribly against PIT last time they played them.

I dont know I just have feeling because of SEA's crowd (12th man or whatever they call it) and Carolina's suckage, SEA has more potential for points

man you are so indecisive. Either one is a good choice...dont sweat it so much. I think CAR has a better chance at scoring points than ARI. STL actually has a decent defense.

I'm indecisive because my team is tied with 4 other teams for a playoff spot. So each choice is huge.

I went with STL anyhow.

Looks like SEA's D is already getting whipped on by Carolina so looks to be a good decision as of right now.

I'm hoping the Chargers run the next one in. I've got Tolbert, but should be OK without the points. However, I'm in a 12 team 3 division league, with the 3 division winners and most overall points (regardless of record) making playoffs. I'm tied with another team in my division for best overall record in the league by 2 games, but they have the head to head tiebreaker on me and a 5-6 team has the most overall points and would likely hold me off if I don't win the division.

Essentially I need him to not catch his fantasy opponent so I can win my division outright, and he would end up with the 2nd best record overall and be left out of the playoffs.

A Kitna, Mike Williams, or Obamanu touchdown would be well-received.

[Edited on December 5, 2010 at 6:52 PM. Reason : Obamanu hurt]

The team I'm tied with lost, so as long as BenJarvus Green-Ellis finishes with 25 points or less tomorrow vs the Jets I should finish with the best record and #1 seed in my league. If Green-Ellis blows up I don't even make the playoffs.

In one of my leagues.....

Projected game line, me -47, means I should have won by 47. I lost by 30. (My opponent had B.Jacobs (NYG) and the NYG D/ST to be fair... plus Adrian Peterson. Those 3 combined were 70 points.

My team... Hillis = 7, Bowe = 0, Marcedes = 3, Rivers = 13, Dan Carpenter = 3.... The last two weeks have been droughts for some of my players, and more than just a single player... I don't get it, no matter how much strategy or knowledge you have there are just weeks that you just have to sit back and laugh.
