you won't find it anywhere except nahunta, nc and the farmer's market place in raleigh

but i'll ship you a few packs if you're really jonesing for some. doesn't need refrigeration or anything. i would think you could get some in GA, but maybe they're different down there.

I remember the Nahunta place at the farmer's market, but didn't realize it is a town. I wasn't really jonesing for country ham (yet) but have noticed that I never see it in the grocery store. I may try to track some down this weekend, I'm sure there's a store that sells it some where around.

^^^nahunta is a "community" in wayne county. not really a town or anything official. it's more or less just an area with a little store, a feed mill, and a pork center.

you probably just saw the sign on the side of hwy 70. i'm not from nahunta, though. i'm from hood swamp. my fiance, DeeMarie, and my roommate, jw27863, are both from nahunta. my father is from that area and my grandmother still lives there, though. i think they've made me an honorary member by now.

all i do to make the sauce is dump a can of cream of mushroom, a cup of milk, and a bag of parmesan cheese on the chunks of chicken after i cook them. you're supposed to use cream and blah blah blah, but this tastes pretty good.
