In all fairness, packboozie has done for more "playing devil's advocate" than he has "trolling." Some of us have been unfairly critical of Lowe, others have blindly supported him. packboozie's been relatively fair thus far in his criticism, with a few exceptions along the way.

I really believe that getting Cousins to commit is far more important that Wall. As some of you already stated we have quite a few guards. Have you seen what our frontcourt is going to look like next year. Smith 6-8, Howell 6-7, which makes Horner our tallest guy at 6-9. We need a big far more that a pg. In addition to all this, once Cousins commits I believe Wall will then commit too.

Even if Wall comes here, he will have his fair share of turnovers too since he's a freshman. It would be really hard to win if we can't score inside or rebound because I don't believe Smith can do it all for us. He needs help and specifically someone tall and athletic, who can actually block a shot regularly.

wall is here for 1 year and one year only. Would be good for Lo Brown to be tutelaged under Wall for a year... 7 guards is a cluster fuck of guards. They are all going to want to play, and I wouldn't be surprised if Javi/Degand/Mays would be better as upperclassmen in ACC play than Lo Brown as a true freshman. I don't know for certain it would be BEST for our program, and shouldn't have said it so definitively, but it I think it is debatable.

^ hell of a rotation there, but we started playing better this season only playing 8 or 9 in the past few games.

are you serious with yourself? Brown is a better basketball player than Wall. Wall is more athletic and flashy, but if I had to choose one or the other I'd rather have Brown. (that in no way means I don't want wall)

^x4 I wasn't saying that that would be the rotation. I was just putting players where they would likely play. I'm sure Lowe would like to keep the rotation down to around 9 players by the time league play starts. I think early on he would try to develop some of the other players and see what their strengths and weaknesses are, that way he could play certain players in certain situations.

Is a very good and valid point. But if we could have him for 2 or 3 years with an extra year of maturity then I think the FUTURE of our program after next year (assuming we get the 1 and doner in Wall) would be better off.
