Also, when you flip over onto the roof, keep gunning the accelerator. The spinning of the tires will help you go further!

I have two friends who need help, and I can't even get out to the driveway to start shoveling. Plus, I'm so extra weak, it would take me forever to shovel a sheet of ice even if I could get up there.

Hopefully, tonight's snow will help me grip tomorrow morning, but holy shit, I'm gonna be so sore.

I'm not looking forward to this.

Alright, I can walk on it now, and I can hear the neighbor shoveling his...so I'm bout to do this thing.

Most exercise I'll have had in months.

Tonight's snow better come up easy tomorrow morning.

(But I'ma try and remember to park my stupid car at the end of the drive this time. )

So was that storm back in 05 or 06, and I remember what happened there.

I did it--just enough to get my lazy ass to the top of the driveway. I'll clean it up later to impress the neighbors.

So, yeah, suck it, Mother Nature, and fuck your shitty transmission, Ford Explorer.

But also, many thanks, Mother Nature, for the sun load and radiant energy.

Now I'm going to the store for no reason at all. Pumped!

UGH I HAVE to get my nails did this evening after work. This storm better not interfere with this!

I also need to drive to Greensboro tonight. Think that will be an issue?

Snow in Greensboro is supposed to be from 2-4pm with little to no accumulation. Your biggest problem with driving here is going to be that the secondary roads still aren't looking all that great and the potential for re-freezing tonight. As long as you aren't going too crazy far off I-40, you should be fine.

Maybe I am just lazy but I dont get why people shovel their whole driveway.

Why not just park at the very and blocking the snow from filling that spot, and only dig out a foot or so around your car, way less work, and you can still get your car in and out.

No fucking way I am doing that much work just to look like my shit is all clear, especially when in a day or two the sun will do it for me.

Snowed hard in Greensboro for about an hour. No accumulation, and it is finished now. Looked awesome while it was happening though.

I woulda done this if I'd thought about it because I had people I needed to help.

But, if you got a culvert, I'd at least park behind that...idiots can run into your culvert, not your car, and depending on your property, you're still running the risk of having a couple limbs crush your windshield. Garages are nice.

I think we might see some accumulation if it stays steady until 9, probably won't, but its already not immediately melting off the asphalt near me

Had a blast with the kids during the snow storm. Got some great photos and videos showing how much snow was dumping down.

my boss is going in tomorrow so I doubt I can get out of it. I was in DC for work all last week so if I do go in tomorrow, it will have been 13 days since I've been in the office.
