blast... my plan to get a new qb is ruined... the best guy available is either mcnabb or hasselback... I'll take a mediocre Manning over those schmucks any day

Well, I ended up benching Wayne in favor of Chris Ivory...which ended up working out fine.

I was dead set on starting Steve Johnson, figuring he'd have a big bounce back game...instead, I left Wayne's points on the bench

I think I've still won my first round playoff game (I've got a 24 point lead heading into tonight, and my opponent only has Deion Branch to play)...my second round match isn't going to be any easier though.

RAWR RAWR RAWR...gtfo then.

Most of the "blogging" is integrally related to the advice given here. If you posted a question about whether to play a particular player, it makes perfect sense to come back and thank/bitch about said advice

I'd say so...here's to hoping Deion Branch shits the bed tonight though...I have a lead, but not a substantial one.

And thats what Slave Famous never understood. He never talked to the little guy about his life, about his problems. He never walked in his shoes. And thats why when the little guys revolted, they went after Slave Famous first. They hung his head from a lamppost.

I knew better to than to take advice from TWW....and I did it anyway and lost out on 20 extra points. What kind of retard am I for playing a WR and a RB from EITHER team in the Steelers/Ravens matchup? A retarded ass retard.

Sidney Rice and Mike Williams on the bench FTL

Quote :
"Mike Wallace vs. Baltimore or Mike Williams (TB) vs. Atlanta

I have a serious love/hate rela. with Mike Wallace because its so hard to tell when he's gonna go off.

Also...seriously contemplating benching Ray Rice for either Sidney Rice or Ben Obomanu"

Quote :
"Do not bench Ray Rice for Sidney Rice or Ben Obomanu. You must be crazy.

I would definitely start Mike Wallace over Mike Williams."

Chris Ivory worth a start again this week, or is his situation too dangerous with Thomas getting the extra week to heal up?

He blew up big for me last week, so I'm hopeful.

first place in two leagues, 5th place in another, and 10th place in the league I won last year (missed the playoffs this year)

help with a couple decisions for this week

Pick my QB: We get 1pt per 10 rushing yards, 1pt per 20 passing yards, 5pt per passing TD, 6pt per rushing TD

Michael Vick @ Dallas (SNF)
Aaron Rodgers @ Det

Pick my 3 WRs (same settings as above, non-ppr league, we get 1pt per 20 kick/punt return yards):

Desean Jackson @ Dal
Percy Harvin vs. NYG
Anquan Boldin @ Hou (MNF)
Sidney Rice vs. NYG
Malcolm Floyd vs. KC
Santana Moss vs. TB

Actually, made playoffs in both of my leagues, thank you.

Excuse me if I don't want to read how many points you need for a win in the Monday night matchup. Do you not realize that a million people have a similar situation and that what you are writing is not interesting at all to anyone else?

With that said:
^
Vick

Jackson
Boldin
Harvin

^^ I agree with ^ on the WRs. I'd probably go Aaron Rodgers though. Just a personal preference I guess.

Andre Johnson v Baltimore or Wes Welker v Chicago?

what would Tdub do?

I have a hard time sitting Terrell Owens & Andre Johnson, at the same time I think they have the worse matchup vs. Bowe & S. Johnson

Should I sit Bowe and play Andre or Terrell instead?

Pick 3 to start in the following positions:

RB/WR:
WR:
WR:

Players
Marques Colston
Chris Ivory
Reggie Wayne
Wes Welker
Steve Johnson

Welker, Wayne, Johnson

Ivory's risky because Thomas might come back and Colston has too many other options to compete with

Better defensive option for the rest of the year: Philadelphia or Atlanta?

Philadelphia is playing: Cowboys, Giants, Vikings, Cowboys

Atlanta is playing: Panthers, Seahawks, Saints, Panthers

I haven't looked at the standings real close but it seems as if Philly should be clinching soon??? If so, I'd probably go with ATL?

WEEK 14 PLAYOFF DEFENSE:
Baltimore (@ Houston)
or
San Francisco (vs SEA)

3rd WR?
Steve Smith (vs ATL)
Deion Branch (@ CHI)
or
Lee Evans (vs CLE)

I'm leaning towards SF and Branch. But how stupid would I be to not start BALT D, especially this being a win or go home week for me?

^^they're probably both playing for homefield, so i'd take ATL with the shittier teams to play

^SF and Branch sound the best to me, but i'll let somebody else answer since i'm in your league

need 2 RBs:

Pierre Thomas vs StL
Fred Jackson vs Cle
Cedric Benson @ Pit
Ricky Williams @ NYJ

pretty shitty matchups and PT's first game back.. I think I have to start him though, and Ricky shouldn't even be listed probably

Felix Jones v PHI
Brian Westbrook v SEA
Mike Tolbert v KC
Steven Jackson @ NO

Pick the one that doesn't belong.

probably still a good play for week 14:
Quote :
"Coach Sean Payton said he does not want to decrease Ivory's workload even if Pierre Thomas returns this week, ESPN.com reports. "Chris has done a number of good things and I don't want to affect his snap count at all in regards to his carries," Payton said. "[He] has earned the reps he's getting now and the touches he's getting now.""

^^ Calvin Johnson and the 2nd depends on how gutsy you are I guess. Wes Welker will give you solid production, Sydney Rice is the home run threat. I'd go with Wes Welker.

In 6th place and currently in the last playoff spot going into the last week of the season. I get in with a win or a loss (as long as the 7th place team doesn't outscore me by 32 pts).

Pick 3 for my starting WRs:

Sidney Rice
Hines Ward
Deion Branch
Donald Driver
Percy Harvin
Steve Smith (south)

Also, is it safe to drop Smith yet? My TE has been struggling, and Celek is the best on still available?

Thoughts on both questions?
