Germany never had an actual goal called back either. the replay simply shows that nearly every one of our players is getting fouled/held up top yet we get called for something. i can't remember a call or no call pissing me off so much since the no-call hand ball vs Germany in 2002

you know, i normally hate blaming the officiating, but that should have been a goal for edu. i'm assuming that the foul was on bocanegra (because it sure as hell wasn't an offside), but with that many bodies flying, that's a no-call unless you can clearly see a foul. shit. oh well, take the point, crush algeria.

yea. i mean i get upset with normal bad calls, but a terrible call like that that directly affects a goal in this kind of game is just uncalled for.

either way, great 2nd half for us. we bent them over and we should have played like that for 90 minutes and we would have won by 2 goals.

Slovenia has 4 pts so if they tie England and both us and England beat Algeria it'll come down to goal differential. If Slovenia beats England and we win we are through. If England beats Slovenia and we win we are through.
