I've still got THIS Yugo SKS for sale too.

FS: Yugo SKS with Tapco stock & bayonet

Everything works, even the switch from grenade mode to semi-automatic.

Includes three magazines, one 20 round Tapco polymer, one 30 round steel mag, and the original stock and mag.

Also includes 250+ rounds of ammo (more than 200 of which are FMJ Barnaul which is very clean ammo compared to Wolf), and a handful of stripper clips. The gun alone is going for $450 with the Tapco stock at gun shows. All of the above for $500 obo.

Damn. If either of these are still for sale this summer, I'll contact you. I can't justify the purchase right now. It makes me cry that I just paid TWC $250 for cable that I barely ever watch, and here sit a couple rifles I could actually use

WTS: MechTech CCU (carbine conversion unit) for Glock Compact frame (19/23/32)
http://www.mechtechsys.com/glock.php
This unit includes the basic CCU, the telescoping stock, the glock block feed ramp, and a 'holographic' sight (needs battery)
Retail price on this setup is $480.
I'm looking for $250 on this:

I'm willing to trade for a new(ish) mossberg 500 or 590.

Anyone have a mossberg 500 or 590 that they want to get rid of?
I'm looking to trade ammo, 33 round glock mags, other accessories for it, and some cash if needed.
I have lots of stuff, but not a lot of $$.

What is the cheapest place to ship a gun with? I am sending my Glock in to GI for some work, and I went by the UPS Store, who was not authorized to ship firearms. I was directed to a UPS customer center, and told that I will probably only have the option to overnight it. Does FedEx or USPS ship firearms at a cheaper price, or am I pretty much SOL on that?

What about shipping it in the USPS flat rate priority shipping boxes? Send the upper seperate from the frame... They are $5.20 for each box, so it'd be $10.40 w/o ins.

It's gotta ship overnight

ETA:

Shipment by Unlicensed Persons
Any shipper who does not have a Federal Firearms License (FFL) is considered to be an 'unlicensed person'. This section contains information on how unlicensed persons can ship firearms. If you have an FFL, please skip to the next section for shipping suggestions.

The most important thing to know is that you must only ship guns to a licensed dealer. If the buyer is not a licensed dealer, he will have to make arrangements to ship the item to a dealer in his state.

Before you ship a gun, the buyer must fax or mail you a copy of the dealer's signed FFL license. You can only ship the gun to the address on the license. You must inform the carrier that the package contains a firearm. Of course, the firearm cannot be shipped loaded; ammunition may not be shipped in the same box. You should take the copy of the signed FFL with you when you take the item to be shipped in case the shipper wishes to see it.

Notes on specific shippers:

US Mail: An unlicensed person can ship a rifle or shotgun by US Mail. Unlicensed persons cannot ship a handgun by US Mail. Postal regulations allow the Post Office to open your package for inspection. Ammunition cannot be shipped by US Mail. You can search the US Post Office Postal Explorer site for specific USPS regulations regarding firearms and ammunition.

FedEx Express: FedEx will only ship firearms via their Priority Overnight service. Ammunition must be shipped as hazardous goods via Ground in compliance with ORM-D.

FedEx Ground: FedEx Ground will transport and deliver firearms (excluding handguns) as defined by the United States Gun Control Act of 1968, between areas served in the U.S. Ammunition must be shipped as hazardous goods via Ground in compliance with ORM-D.

UPS: UPS will accept handgun shipments by Next Day Air only. Rifles and shotguns can be shipped by UPS ground service. UPS will accept shipments of ammunition. Most other shippers will no longer accept firearm shipments. Airborne and Roadway have specifically prohibited firearm shipments.

You can't ship handguns through USPS.

Handguns have to be shipped overnight by UPS or FedEx. Expect to pay $30-50.

I have a 2010 vintage, Ruger MKIII 22/45 Replacement Panel model with the cocobolo wood grips (sp?). Great shape, picked it up from Clays with about 50rnds down the tube, and I have done around 100 down range from it. Great shape, near NIB condition.

Comes with box, 2 mags, papers, fired shell casing and gun (of course). These go for $275-$295 in gun stores before tax, I'm asking $250 FTF in Raleigh/Youngsville NC for mine. Pics up tomorrow.

^I have a barnett wildcat c5 that I've been very pleased with. If you have the money, then you should get a recurve rather than a compound. They're just as fast and you can re-string them without a press. Excaliburs are quite expensive though. The only negative I have with my wildcat is how heavy it is...it is not easy to move through the woods with. But it got the job done and was very fast and accurate.

Make sure you have your pistol permit too

Give Jim's gunshop a call. He might be able to help with that. Otherwise I'd say just look in some pawn shops or wait for the next gun show (I really don't know what the market is for rifles in a pawnshop is though).

that's gonna be hard to find used. if you open up to other makes, it'll be easier to find a used lefty bolt. there are plenty of bolts that will shoot just as good or better than the T3 for the same or less money. the T3 is a fine rifle, but imo it's not just so awesome that i would pass up other good deals in a quest for one. stuff like the howa 1500 comes to mind.

you can't go wrong with a marlin 336. i've been told the marlin xl7 shoots good groups. about $300 i think.

if i was you, i'd cruise around pawn shops and gun shops until i found something in my price range that made my dick hard. then i'd go home and research it just to make sure it wasn't a POS with serious known failure issues or accuracy problems. if i my dick was still hard after that, i'd find the best price on it and pull the trigger.

^Marlin XL7/XS7 ( I had an XS7 .308 ) does sub 1" groups using *any* ammo I found. Crappy .308 still did under 1" groups....all for under $300.

Marlin 336's are fun as all heck, cheap to shoot, and plentiful. Should be able to get one under $300 at pawn shops.

got a pretty good idea of the gun shops around here, but what are some decent pawn shops that are more known to stock firearms? I don't really want to drive around the greater Piedmont looking for a shop with more than a couple busted up handguns and plinkers

i'm not familiar with wake co. pawn shops, but if you find something you like and decide to go new, let me check the price that my FFL up in caswell county can get you. i bought a tikka and the savage from him and he beat everyone else. only an hour or two from raleigh.

hell, call him yourself. the lady usually handles all the special orders. he's a hell of a gunsmith, but doesn't really keep any firearms in stock.

Selling my Taurus 24/7 Pro in .40S&W caliber:

Selling it as I am trying to get streamlined to less diff calibers and have mostly 9mm now. Its a great gun and I really like it, honestly if I had gotten it in a 9mm I would not be selling it. Bought it ~ 1 yr ago and probably has 300-400 rounds through with no issues or a single ftf or jam. Includes 3 15rnd mags and a Fobus paddel holster.

Online prices range $350-410 with only 1 or 2 mags, extra mag was $40 and the holster $35 and I might have 10-20rnds to go with it.

$400

^^^just as a FWIW, those are great guns- my first pistol was a 24/7 (and I still have it). Never had any problems, seems well made, and is pretty accurate. The one thing I will say that some of my friends don't like about it is the long trigger travel (never really bothered me)

To be honest with you, I doubt I'd outright sell it for what it's probably worth. There's a scratch on the stock and some blemishes on the right side of the receiver. I didn't buy it new, but I have taken it apart to clean it and I don't think it has seen many rounds, based on the looks of the innards. I've probably put 1k or so through it in the last year, but beyond that I'd have to guess generically by saying "not many" as far as round count goes. Aside from the aforementioned blemishes that were there when I got the gun, it's in fantastic shape. The wood and metal finish looks awesome. I'll try to get some pics up in a minute.

For a little clarification, it's a model 60w. That means it comes with the illustrious gold trigger and the coin in the stock that you see in the pics. It also has a darker stock, which I assume is walnut vs the standard birch. I don't know jack dick about wood, but I believe that's the case.

Make me an offer if you're still interested.
