They shoulda signed Kevin Weekes, and I think his deal runs up in NJ. He's only make 685,000 and he's played some great years. Remember when canes were one of the worst in the league and he had any amazing SV% still?

Only because the entire team played like dogshit during a period when he was inconsistent. He's been well over .920 this month. On top of that, he's 24. He's just coming to the point where he can be consistent at this level...all but the most brilliant goaltenders don't reach solid NHL maturity until their mid-20s.

Plus, who the hell would you get that's better?
