Very entertaining game, I had to miss the first half b/c I was on the road but watching the highlights, this is one of the games of the season.

Gotta say, that was a weak ass fall from Lennon to get the PK. Szczesny touches his right foot, Lennon takes another step, realizes he's in the box, and trips over the left. Sorry, not a PK, it was a dive, don't care what any of you haters say. Can't blame Lennon though, he's just learning from Modric.

Not that Arsenal deserved the win really. If the game ended at half time they did, but they fell apart at times and gave up too many chances in the second half to claim the match.

I suggest you go back and look at the ESPN highlight from the behind the goal and then go ahead and edit that. Clearest penalty I've seen in a while. Your shitty keeper's right arm raked across both his legs.

I'm not a hater. It was not a dive. And I don't care if you care what I say, so there.

Lies from all of you, you will see no edits from me. Already watched the replay, I totally understand why it was called a foul, and I'll even admit Szczesny made contact, but Lennon played that up quite a bit. Like I said, don't really blame Lennon, anyone with a good head on their shoulders, knowing they are in the box, would have done the same thing.

Also, head of the Arsenal Supporters Trust just burned Spurs on ESPN. 50 years...no trophy...great response to the "Do you think Wenger should be fired for 6 years with no trophy" question.

Either way, good game, I hand it to Spurs for some great entertainment. If all EPL games had fans that loud and that much action, no other league (or sport for that matter) would compare. Arsenal is out of the title race now IMO, their form is pretty flat and Chelsea are making a late season push...it will be tough for them to win it at this point. I just like riling everyone up a little

Spurs haven't had the same manager for 50 years, though

typical Arsenal shit - always taking the low blow, then crying when they get taken out. It's time for Wenger to go, he's the Herb Sendek of the EPL

I feel like Fabregas is like the 4th best player on that team despite the fact that he gets all the acclaim.

I agree. I think they should let him go and use the money to pick up a keeper, some depth up top, and somebody with some fucking balls.

I don't get why Barca still wants Cesc at this point

Also agreed. I think he has played CMF well in the past, but with Jack making such fast progress, he could easily be running the mid and in a few years acting as captain. Song is strong in the mid too. Then you have Nasri, Walcott, Arshavin, etc for the wider positions. In 2-3 years you have lots of youth talent like Ozyakup and Emmanuel-Thomas who could make a big impact and firm up the midfield.

I'm a big RVP fan and he has incredible talent, but they need a ruthless goalscorer to play beside him. He plays a pretty game, very Arsenal-esque, which if great, but they need someone who is going to pull the trigger 9 times out of 10 when the ball lands at their feet in the box. Luke Freeman looks promising assuming he stays with the club long term, but something needs to be done for next season.

Fabregas obviously has talent but I feel like he doesn't have the drive left. He obviously wants out but he's stuck as captain. He hasn't had a big game in a long time and that's arguably what's holding Arsenal back. That one difference maker.

For all their shortcomings, Arsenal is still the best at developing young talent. They've got like 2-3 times as many PL level youth players as any other team it seems like.

Check this out, highest paid athletes in each country:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/news/story?id=6391145

Think the list is a bit outdated, but still interesting. Mostly soccer players...some are surprising.

- Nigel de Jong is the highest paid Dutch player? Really? There are at least 6 players I would guess to make more than him (Robben, RVP, VDV, Kuyt, Sneijder, van Bommel), possibly more.

- Man U pays salaries to the highest paid Welsh (Giggs), Scottish (Fletcher) and, laughably, Irish (O'shea!) athletes.

- Yaya Toure makes $18M!? (and apparently, more than Drogba).

- Players in English League 1 seem to be better paid than those in the MLS. Not really surprising, just intereting.

Pretty recent list. They've got Dzeko on Man City

- Malouda doesn't get paid all that much relatively.

- Highest paid English, Brazilian, Spanish and Italian athletes are all motor sports.

- Greek basketball players make good money.

- Malaysia and Nepal suck ass at sports.

- Niue... LOL

- A-Rod and Pacquiao make the most.

- MLS players don't make shit.

^^ U rite, I for some reason was thinking Adebayor transferred to RM but he is only on loan, so he would still be on Man City's books. That's why I was thinking it was a little dated, even though Dzeko was on the list.

Keep it classy Clint Dempsey.

Subbed off for Andy Johnson, Dempsey blows off the sub handshake.

Johnson then goes and scores the equaliser for Fulham.

Someone's an asshole.

and wow, Sunderland were down 1 to Wigan, turned around and have hung 4 on them to lead 4-1

I use SopCast and stream from here for games that aren't on ESPN3: http://livefooty.doctor-serv.com/

You have to use IE for SopCast, unfortunately. Sometimes if there is a high profile game there will be a pop-up on the main page I linked that won't let you proceed unless you install some kind of sketchy looking taskbar. I've never installed it, instead I just go to my history in IE and find a link to the channels page and click through the channels until I find the game I want.

Also here is another good site for those who use SopCast: http://www.livefootballol.com

Sucks.

We can't keep blowing these chances to overtake City and expect to get it done in the last fixture. Now Chelsea is on deck at Stamford Bridge and that is surely to be 0-1 points so I have to really hope Blackburn can pull something off Monday.

My prediction is that we finish the season 5th
