the seth/ summer break-up made me cry.... when she rip up her collage.. oh my... and when marissa curled up in the bed...awwwhh. made me think of my best friend from college. that was a truly touching moment. i was watching it with my childhood best friend who doesn't really follow it, but when that part rolled around she was crying too. she looked at me and was like "why have you got me watching?"

yea... the whole sandy storyline slightly confuses me. but from what i gather that guy that got beat up (i can never remember his name) knows that sandy didn't have anythign to do with it, but said that to kristen in order to start conflict.

the past few weeks of the OC have reminded me why I love this show. The whole "bitch boy" speech from Volchuck, loved it. I'm so glad Taylor is going to continue to be on the show next season. She has some great lines.

Raise your hands if you didn't think that Marissa would die. There were too many telltale clues that Barton's character would be wiped out. Whenever a star is bigger than the show, that's usually it foe 'em. Mischa was too big for the OC.

I guessed she would die when she told her mom "this is it..." or something of the sort. But I also guessed Ryan would get shot as a backup guess

I was let down at how...odd...the ending was. Not terribly emotional like I expected.

I wonder how "The OC will continue w/ 2 of the members in Rhode Island. My guess is that Seth, Summer, and Ryan fade out and a new cast arrives (headed by Marissa's sister) so that the show remains focused in the actual OC high schools.

Nah, they'll probably try to do a split focus on Seth/Summer, Ryan, and then maybe the new high school people. I can't see them totally forgetting about the Cohens or the other characters they've worked 3 seasons to create.

Dawson's Creek survived with people split up going to different colleges...I imagine the same will happen here. They might get rid of a character or two, then add a character or two. It can be done.

Seth isn't going to RI until January...and who knows if Summer will go now, she may be too sad after losing her BFF. Plus, Berkley isn't far away. I want them to bring back LUKE. Maybe he'll so up for the funeral.
