^ first, that's 'jam', or 'pim', and b, yes they can. well, i wouldn't even call this one "centered around them". They were still a sub-plot in this one, it just ended on them, which most episodes have. moreso in the first season than this one i think.... but either way, the relationship dynamic is still being written and acted perfectly. 1/27/2006 4:08:23 PM |

yes but it cant be a subplot or mainplot of every single show
it would be too much.

if you read pam and jim's interview on page 6 you'll see that the writers are planning on expanded more on their relationship b/c the "reality show cameras" are catching on to their relationship it being a good thing
dwight and angela's make me laugh though...hahaha, classic last night when dwight picks up her stuff to trash, she shakes her head like "no sir...i have you by the balls don't even think about it." so he throws her pen 1/27/2006 4:25:20 PM |

I like the Jim/Pam relationship just the way it is and hope they never hookup. Awkward relationships in real life have never been translated so well into a TV show.

no problems with how pam-jim is being handled. Josh8315 has not taste. cant wait to see it get more and more desperate as it comes closer to the wedding.
In the brit version, they only get together at the very end of the show. I expect it to be the same, here. 1/27/2006 9:16:05 PM |

How many sit-coms revolve around the idea of a couple JUST FUCKING LIKE this one. All of them. Its not that they have handled it wrong or its uninteresting, its just not new and interesting.
The Office is unique, I like it for what makes it unique, not what makes it just like every other show on tv.

The BBC Office was hilarious, and obviously, you know, if it hadn't been made, American one would never exist.
But the American one is 10 times better. 2/4/2006 3:10:37 PM |

yeah, speaking of kelly, you know what's funny is that Kelly and Toby, the HR guy, were originally just writers for the show (and still are). And as they were casting the other characters, kelly and toby (the real people) stood in for those characters, and they ended up just casting them. Turned out for the better i think - they are great. 2/5/2006 4:36:27 AM |
