jets fans are happy, 'cause they know that they could still work out a deal with the saints for bush. if they had picked leinart, no way the saints would've swapped bush for leinart and picks.

saints, don't do it, don't do it....

Probably been posted somewhere else, but still good to post again...

Quote :
"The ACC and the Number One Pick
The Atlantic Coast Conference has never had a number one overall draft pick in the NFL draft. Some current members of the ACC have had a top pick before joining the ACC. Virginia Tech (Michael Vick, 2001; Bruce Smith, 1985), Miami (Russell Maryland, 1991; Vinny Testaverde, 1987) and Virginia (Bill Dudley,1942) are the only current ACC members to have had a number one overall pick."

I wouldn't call Aaron Rogers a "good" backup. Wasted draft pick would be more fitting

I didn't say that.

I said Green Bay drafted a QB (rogers) last year. Doubt they'd take Leinart....although I think Rogers is going to be a bust and he was a wasted draft pick

actually a great pick for GB with Bubba Franks at TE, Walker, Favre, they needed a LB or someone on D to really get things going

All Jeff Tedford's QBs have been bust so far. Boller, Dilfer, Harrington are the 3 names off the top of my head. Rodgers could well be on that list.

That's part of the reason I think he'll be a bust.

He was a dink-n-dunker in college. 90% of his passes were less than 5 yards

I remember seeing this kid on the sidelines at the Maryland game, he was their offense really. I remember one of their WRs dropping a TD pass in the end zone, Vernon ran over to the sidelines and was just cussssssing out the coach to take that kid out of the game, next thing u know...the kids out and Vernons gets the ball.
