shoulda coulda woulda...the carolina game is over...they are 14-2 second in the acc and the only team in the acc anyone expects to give duke a run for their money...with the exception of sitting courtside for the carolina and duke wins at home in the same week a couple years back...pack basketball hasnt looked this good in a while...ill take a 14-2 record...

ok so Paul Hewitt cussed us out at the end of the game. We were yelling stuff at Tarver for being in-eligible and stuff, and this is exactly what Hewitt did.

he turned around, pointed at us and screamed

"FUCK YOU, THAT'S CLASSLESS"

and then he turned around, screamed again somethign about us being classless while being restrained by his assistants.

yeah, we were behind the band and were going to start singing the ABC song after we saw them take the signs but the band nor the crowd ever got quiet enough for GT to hear it. That place was loud though in the second half, I was actually beginning to wonder if the floor was going to hold when everyone started jumping. lol.

The refs tried to help us lose the game, but we still managed to pull through.

Even so, here are the things we need to work on a bit:
1) GT did a really good job pushing back on offense, we need to get back quicker on D
2) GT did a great job on defending our inbounds plays (not necessarily something we can work on)
3) Ced needs to be making some more free throws
4) I don't want to watch Brackman continously launching 3s. He's not Marcus Melvin

For the most part, we did a good job. And I'll definitely vouch for the fact that it was LOUD the last 6 minutes.

Ok I know this has already been posted, but since I said it, I think I can give my story. After the players had gotten up during the last timeout, I yelled, "hey paul, can tarver even understand your little drawings?" He immediately turned and yelled, "Hey, FUCK YOU!...that's just classless."

I was just stunned after I just got the f-bomb dropped on me by an ACC coach. I don't care if he thinks what I said was classless, it's our job as students to get in the opposition's head and that is what we did. He has to remember as a coach that he can't explode like that on a student. I was very amused when I realized what I had done though. I'm on a good roll this season too after being flicked off by a UNC-Asheville player for a clean and appropriate comment.

I witnessed Paul's ridiculous comment and here is the video of him making the comment. It doesn’t show much but you can clearly see his assistant coaches holding him back. I personally think he should respond with an apology and learn to control himself. The video isn’t the best, but you can make it out.
