Nice comeback, looks like the team knows they can play with Texas. I just wish Herb woulda used a timeout to setup a play right before the half, that would help with momentum if we convert. Nice block by Ced too..

I actually think Herb is doing a great job so far from a coaching standpoint.

They were raining threes, and we went into a 1-3-1 to help them go cold. Go to the faster bench for transition baskets. Getting free throws from an out of bounds play with 1 on the shot clock. Setting a Bennerman post-up play after the time-out that led to a Tony three. Give the man some credit here.

Atsur/Evtimov have always been serviceable players, with good talent (not great), and good leadership skills (Atsur Jr./Evtimov Super Sr.). Grant and Fells are true talents. I wouldn't be suprised if Fells has a huge year next year, and goes pro... not a soothsayer, but they are the future of 'pack bball, thus we're gettin' a big game out of them, and a glimpse at next yr.
