Guys, he can't dunk with one hand.

6'10" with an even bigger wingspan

can't dunk

That's pretty fucked up. Stop acting like he was the second coming when he had one great game and a whole shitton of mediocre ones after that.

i know people that played drinking games based on how often got ced got the ball at the top of the arc so to say he wasn't there much says a lot about how many games you watched this year.

its easier to dunk with 1 hand than it is with 2, i've never even seen anyone that can dunk w/ both hands but not w/ 1.

This is for people who can barely dunk. It's a lot easier to stretch one hand out and dunk than do it with both hands.

However, for people who are 6'9" with a 7'4" inch wingspan...that doesn't matter. It's harder to dunk with one hand for these guys because you have less control over the ball, therefore it is easier for the ball to come out of the hand and hit the back of the rim (like Cedric does a lot). Using tow hands gives you better control over the ball.

Ced can dunk with one hand

He also has gone up for one handed dunks and had the ball fly out of his hands

If you watch our team play, its not that hard to understand folks

I didn't really consider that arguing. Just a restatement. But hey...you can at least spin it to "Cedric is fucking awesome...he's slated to go 13th in a strong big man draft." That could help you out.

i personally don't think he should stay in the draft, but we all know that's unlikely. i was just pointing out the update from the draft "experts"

^HEY! This guy's a big phony!

Didnt he just ask for an NCAA sanctioned evaluation from the NBA?

I don't think thats the same as declaring for the draft.

I'm also not an expert on these things.

Yeah...they usually do that before hiring an agent. If the evaluation turns out good, they'll hire an agent. Too bad right now it's looking like he'll get a pretty good evaluation. It might come back, "you would benefit staying another year...but you'd probably be in the top 15 if you left this year."

it's also pure speculation that ced would have stayed w/herb still here.

all you can do is look at the facts.

1. Ced's father is disabled
2. They need money
3. Ced is being projected as high as a lottery pick, almost guaranteed 1st round selection

he's gone, and i really think he would be gone with anyone as our HC.

^Yeah...Ced is gone for good.

It wouldn't matter if we got Rick Barnes, Ced would still be gone. Herb leaving (mainly Coach Harris...because Ced LOVED Coach Harris) and then all of these high projections put him over the edge.

isn't that still a lottery pick however?

but considering how his family needs money if he is a first rounder at all i say he would go b/c of the two years of guaranteed decent money

In a recent interview...after Lowe talked about how he wanted him to stay so he could get the ball in the post a lot...he said his family isn't hurting that bad and that the choice to go is completely up to him. Hopefully J-Hodge will give him a call and let him know that the money will be there forever, but you can only be in college for so long.

Yeah all the things I've read where he's talked about the new coach actually gives me a little hope. He sounds legitimately interested in an offense that will utilize him. Plus the fact that the guy has NBA experience probably sounds good to Ced.

But of course being the typical pessimistic NCSU fan I have to expect the worst.

good advice for Ced from hoopshype.com

Quote :
"Footwork, post moves and left hand need work. Being "the man" in his junior year would have benefited him"

Also says he has no coach, so hasn't been updated recently. Has him going 16 to the Bulls.
