I would think almost all tvs have a 720p -> 1080i scaler built in. It cant cost much, they implement it like shit on every model ive ever seen. What kind of tv do you have?

1) They are going to pay all 50 men $100/day = $5000/day to pick up as many units as they can.

2) They are going to pay the group $100/day thereby creating a "winner take all" fight. The last man standing will get the money and one system.

I remember seeing a story about a broken XBox 360 last year. Some radio station sent somebody to a Best Buy to get the "broken Xbox 360" He came out of the store and started smashing it. Those poor people in line were about to cry... lol. I hope does that with a ps3..

Hiring homeless people to sit in line is standard practice for highly sought after sports tickets. Where do you think bookies come up with so many? I wouldn't be surprised if this guy loses his ass or rips them off though. 50x$100 just seems foolish.

So apparently there are some large issues with backwards compatibility right now. With a rushed launch, this doesn't surprise me. Hopefully they get this fixed before it becomes too large of an issue, b/c I know many people who want PS3 over 360 just for the backwards compatibility prospects. Sucks for those who traded in their PS2's hoping to still be able to play all their games on PS3.

^^ let's just say the parking lot was packed. A lot of folks came out in trucks and were rolled out in sleeping backs on the beds or chilling on their tailgates. Cops were pretty much going around making sure NO ONE was loitering around near the store entrance.

People should have just done there research and gotten preorders if they wanted PS3's so bad or to sell. I spent all of 45 minutes and I am getting 3 myself. If my friends would have gotten out of class when I called we would have had more. With that said.... goodluck to everyone at bestbuy and if you camped out I really hope u get 1 because you deserve it.

They are expected to at least get 1-2 a week at eb until christmas. So if your 9 or 10 on the preorder list you should have yours very soon.... (most eb stores got cut in half if their store was supposed to get 15 they got 8 and if they were supposed to get 8 they got 4)
