Lawerence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum is pretty big. It seats 14,665. To put that in perspective that ranks 5th in the ACC.

ACC Arena Capacities
1) North Carolina - Dean E. Smith Center (21,750)
2) NC State - RBC Center (19,722)
3) Maryland - Comcast Center (17,950)
4) Virginia - John Paul Jone Arena (15,219)
5) Wake Forest - Lawerence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum (14,665)
6) Florida State - Donald L. Tucker Center (12,100)
7) Virginia Tech - Cassell Coliseum (10,052)
8) Clemson - Littlejohn Coliseum (9,749)
9) Duke - Cameron Indoor Stadium (9,314)
10) Georgia Tech - Alexander Memorial Coliseum (9,191)
11) Boston College - Conte Forum (8,606)
12) Miami - BankUnited Center (7,000)

LJVM can be pretty tough when Wake actually has a team worth more than an empty Pringles can.

As usual, duke is getting a blow job from the refs. They call basket interference on clemson. Two plays later at the very same rim, they don't call basket interference on duke.

It seems like there are some awesome Pac-10 games almost every day. They have generally sucked but that conference is damn good this year... Oregon-Wazzou is gonna be fun for the nightcap..

UNC-'Zona should be good..

Ginyard and Wright aren't playing due to illness.. If UNC can still pull this W they are sick...

^^ yup, they are fucking loaded, i have made SO much money off of them this year already... i am thinking the State spread will start off lower than it should to try to get the "rivalry" bets... if its under 15 I might bet the house

these refs are fucking terrible, missing calls left and right for both teams and then making phantom calls to make up for them. i guess thats expected though, they're from the acc

They're young so that is the only thing against them really. They will be prone to inconsistency against really athletic and deeper teams (see VT -- I think Gonzaga was a fluke though). Considering we aren't either of those things I don't think the two games will be too pretty

I'm gonna stick with UCLA as my National Champs if Mbha a Moute and Shipp can get healthy again but UNC is right up there with them at this point.. I don't see UF repeating...

I've been calling out arizona all year and i made alot of money off this game. Arizona has been overhyped all season. "best starting five in america" pshhhh.

the fast pace unc plays makes it so that if something is working or not working it will happen on alot more possessions that in a slow game so they will either get a really big lead if they have someones number or lose if somebody has their number. Thats why the vt spread was so big but they're going to have the other teams number most of the time. They aren't as good as the champ team but they are better than the champ team relative to the rest of the country at the time.

Wake Forest is actually looking not terrible against fsu.

down 2 with 4 min.

I would love to see Wisconsin win a championship. I get the feeling that even though they are ranked #2, nobody really takes them seriously.

Like Kansas beating Nebraska changes anything...has Nebraska ever been good at basketball? Kansas is too inconsistent, they won't make the Final 4.

Hewitt had one great 2 week stretch and his teams have consistently underperformed since then. They have too much talent even w/o Clinch to miss the NCAA tourney. Great recruiter. Absolutely horrid coach.

I'm guessing this has already been posted. If not, its LD Williams from Wake with a couple sick dunks, especially the first one.

I don't think duke has missed any shots in the last 15 minutes. You would think singletary or reynolds could be better defenders. To be fair, its the 3 other faceless uva guys who are giving up points.

^^^1? they've missed contested shots but the thing is they rarely missed even those in the game against us. that was their hottest combined game i've seen.

[Edited on February 1, 2007 at 9:43 PM. Reason : its not singletary and reynolds the rest of the uva defense is breaking down]

[Edited on February 1, 2007 at 9:45 PM. Reason : other than cains dunk and 1 open 3 they have hit every good look they've gotten]
