And blaming the fumble on Jake is questionable...he was looking downfield and couldn't see the defender coming from behind. Give the guy some credit for trusting his line to protect him.

^^Nope. But at least the black glove looks a little less gay than the white ones he was wearing last week. I agree Carr looked pretty good on a night that looked shitty as shitty can get. He didn't see half the pressure Jake did though, so it's hard to compare to the two. He also takes some insanely deep (and unnecessary) drops in the pocket, but at least he has the wheels to get out of trouble most of the time.

Few Other Positives:
1. McClover is a monster. We all new he could get to the QB, but he made some nice plays against the run too.
2, Ryne Robinson looked pretty good. Nothing too fancy, and he really isn't that fast. He just sort of slides up the field.
3. Kris Jenkins can abuse opposing guards when he wants to. He did a great job getting into the backfield all night long.
4. Beason, Shaw, and Anderson all had great games. Shaw especially -- he might not have great stats, but he made some big piles that allowed others (namely Beason) to come clean up.
5. Jason Baker proved why he's the highest paid punter in the league. Holy hell he can kick the ball.

Bad:
1. 1st team d as a whole
2. 1st team o as a whole (especially the line ... holy shit they sucked ass)
3. Pretty much anything that happened in the first half.

but i think jake gets till week 4 to put up some good numbers. this throwing off the back foot shit while falling backwards just to end up with a pick-6 shit has got stop at some point. i guess the horse shoe finally fell out of his ass. after week 3, if he's been shit i think its the carr show till he blows nuts.
