That really sucks if she died. She shouldn't have ridden with a a drunk driver, though (assuming the person was actually drunk and didn't just blow a .01 or something, being under 21).

See them walking hand in hand across the bridge at midnight
Heads turning as the lights flashing out it's so bright
Then walk right out to the fourline track
There's a camera rolling on her back, on her back
And I sense the rhythm humming in a frenzy all the way down her spine

Girls on film, girls on film, girls on film, girls on film

Lipstick cherry all over the lens as she's falling
In miles of sharp blue water coming in where she lies
The diving man's coming up for air cause the crowd all love pulling dolly by the hair, by the hair
And she wonders how she ever got here as she goes under again

Girls on film (two minutes later), girls on film
Girls on film (got your picture), girls on film

Wider baby smiling you just made a million
Fuses pumping live heat twisting out on a wire
Take one last glimpse into the night I'm touching close I'm holding bright, holding tight
Give me shudders in a whisper take me up till I'm shooting a star

Girls on film (she's more than a lady), girls on film
Girls on film (two minutes later), girls on film
Girls on film (see you together), girls on film
Girls on film (see you later), girls on film
Girls on film (what ya doing), girls on film

from the WRAL comment section of the article

Quote :
"They should change the Headline of this story to: Sentinel of revocable rights passes away due to uncontrolled underage drunken driver.

The second tag should read: Less serious charges would have followed if she was drinking and driving over age of 21."

Danielle Polumbo used to my little sister's best friend. I saw her when she first came to state and realized that she had changed a lot. She is not the innocent little girl that I used to know.

This should be a reminder for everyone not to drink and drive. or be driven by a drunk friend.

best point brought up so far

for all we know the driver could have blown a .01

so until all the facts come out, hold off on the "she should've known better to get in a car with a drunk person behind the wheel"

A friend of mine passed away in an auto accident and it took WRAL a day or so to update his news story after he died. WRAL said it was because they have to get confirmation from the hospital, but the hospital doesn't necessarily release the information right when it happens. I think the family has to approve the news being released to the public. Something like that might be happening here if she has in fact passed away.

I feel sorry for both of the girls' families.

It's amazing how much one bad decision can affect the lives of others.

^ agreed, but its also a bad decision to get in the car with someone who is drunk, or has been drinking.

Just something to think about. you can never trust anyone when it comes to it but yourself.

If you search to earlier in the thread you will realize that I believe Emily to be just as guilty.

It is sad to see people go when they are so young and still have so much potential though.

It is both of their families that will suffer.

cabs need to have a way to pay by credit or debit.
I hope they do when I am married and have kids, I'd rather pay for their cab rides than them end up dead because of drunk driving accidents.
