The problem with Danielle putting Jen on the block and backdooring her is that Jen is now on the jury and Danielle is already disliked by half the group as is. So conceivably she only has a chance at winning if she has a really bad person against her in the final two, maybe like her dad? Otherwise everyone will vote against her. Her only sure fire vote is her dad and possibly Dustin.

i will say that my hatred for eric has gone away since he teamed up with dick and daniele.

This isn't a spoiler, I promise, but there has been some idle banter about how BB has been coaching the HGs about what to say in their DR sessions. A couple examples:

-Either Eric or Zach (can't remember) walked in after a DR session claiming he got his lines wrong, and either Eric or Zach made a joke that he'll never be able to get a job as an extra after BB8 because of it. I'm thinking the dude, whichever one, maybe wrote the lines out for himself to remember later?

-Eric's infamous pad next to him when they accidentally aired his DR session on the feeds, but without sound. Again, maybe he wrote some things out for himself? Or a list of topics BB wanted to hear about?

Now there's talk about Dick being told what to say in the DR as well...

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm almost starting to feel a little bad for Eric. He has his hands tied with Dick and Dani. America won't let him backstab them, but they have nothing stopping them from going after him. I could totally see Dick or Dani winning HOH next week and going after Jess and Eric. If they do that I wonder if America's love affair with the Donatos will be over. Eric has made it clear that he is committed to a Jess/Eric/Dick/Dani final four. I just have my doubts that D/D will hold up their end of the bargain.

AP aside, strategically it was a dumb move to not go after D/D this week, but he knew America wouldn't let him get away with it. I just wonder if America's votes are going to both get Eric evicted and also make him look like the good guy afterall. It does seem like America has warmed up to him, but it might be too little, too late.

it will be very sad if jameka, amber or zach make it into the final 4...doing absolutely nothing the whole season (besides being incredibly annoying in the case of jameka and especially amber).

i've never watched a full season before...how do they work it when its down to 4 players? still HOH (who can't be HOH twice in a row?) and POV between all 4 and whoever wasn't nominated or HOH would pick who goes home? and then when there are only 3 left, the HOH would just decide which person would go home?

Yeah. The POV winner has all the power when there's only 4 left because they get to choose who goes home between the other two that aren't HOH.

Then when there's 3 left there's always a 3 Round HOH comp. Round one is usually an endurance comp. The winner of Round one goes straight to Round 3. Then round 2 is usually trivia or some other mental challenge between the losers from Round 1. Then Round 3 is the winners of the first 2 rounds. The winner gets to pick the person that goes with them to the final 2 and which one is evicted. Usually there is a lot of bargaining done during the endurance portion of the HOH comp.

Also the person that is HOH the week there are 4 can be HOH the next week as well. That's the only situation where you can be HOH 2 weeks in a row. Basically aside from being safe from eviction, there's no power to be had by winning HOH when there's 4 left anyway.

BB has decided that more more news media may have contact with evicted houseguests until the season finale. This makes zero sense. The only two media outlets I know about are Julie Chen on the CBS Early Show and the CBS Internet Show House Calls. Really . . . they will hold a HoH competition. That person will immediately (during the live show)have to choose who they are nominating. I can't remember what happens after that--if they have a PoV, or if they go ahead and evict on Thursday.

I think they may have to nominate right away and then evict a HG and hold another HoH on Sunday.

what they have done in the past is...
right after the HoH competition they gather everyone into the house and the HoH must nominate two people for eviction right away. the house guests must then immediately vote for the person they want evicted. the HoH gets no chance to discuss with their allies who should go up for eviction prior to nomination and the voters get no chance to discuss with each other on who they plan to vote for elimination.

no PoV. the next HoH will be Sunday.

uummm, it's going to be an entire "week" in one hour...they will have the first live eviction quickly, then have a short HoH comp..take a commercial break and then have the HoH nominate immediately, they will then have a POV comp, and then the POV ceremony. Then immediately do the eviction. That is how they did it last year (the first time they did a double eviction in one hour). In previous seasons, it was a next day type thing.

They may or may not do another HoH comp during the live show. It may be a semi-endurance one where the winner isn't shown until Sunday anyways. Regardless, those of us who pay attention to the live feeds will know who won HoH, who they nominated, and who won the POV by the time Sunday's episode rolls around anyways

However, the best part will be watching Julie Chen fumble all over herself as she will have to speak quickly and think on her feet, and in doing so will inevitably give away an answer, screw someone over, or just just make herself look like a fool
