Just because Walt is dead, it doesn't mean that Miles can't "talk" to him. Obviously Miles has some way of reading and interpreting electromagnetic or psychic energy, and obviously Walt is somehow able to project a psychic image of himself.

I mean I just think it would be the best way for him to come back. And I highly doubt Michael and Walt are part of the Oceanic Six, regardless of whether or not they do make it off the island in the end. I'm still holding to my Oceanic Six of Jack, Kate, Sayid, Hurley (It looks like he comes to their group next week), Jin and Sun. Juliet might make it off the island but she wouldn't be part of the six. And I doubt she will because I think we would've heard about her in Jacks flash forward.


^^ I suppose its possible on the island where they heal faster. Maybe Locke can heal even better as well due to being in tune with the island.

Gotta remember too that Locke was paralyzed before getting to the island, so i think miraculous healings for him are not that far of a stretch.

I do love that though, because it's another one of those "luck/coincidence/fate" things where Lock just so happens to have been tricked into giving up his kidney and that's exactly where he got shot.

So new idea for the Oceanic 6. After this week's episode, it is clear that Sawyer isn't liking the way that Locke is handling things. Since Jack, Kate, Juliet, and Sayid are already with the helicopter newcomers, I'm thinking that Sawyer and Hurley break off from Locke's group and end up meeting up with the other four to form the Oceanic 6.

I doubt Jin and Sun would return because things are going well for them here and its a place where her father can't reach her and sun to direct their lives any more. their marriage is stable again and they're falling back in love. They'll remain on the island.

Well we already know that Michael is coming back this season, so he could get killed this season or remain on the island. He could have made it away from the island in the second season only to get intercepted by Naomi's boat.

And Jin and Sun will be part of the oceanic six, trust me. There is no way they will stay on the island when it means Sun's probable death. Jin would protect her at all costs, even if it means leaving the island.

the 4 or 5 year old thing was talking about the random idea someone had that kate was preggers, and had a baby, and by the time of the flash forward, thats how old they guessed it might be, not Claire's baby

I don't think Michael is Ben's man on the boat. The black man who arranged the boat and naomi told her that there were no survivors on the island. The helicopter pilot said he studied the manifest over and over again. They would know that Michael was on the 815 flight. If Michael was intercepted by the freighter, I really don't think he would be able to roam around and read personnel files.

I think the black man represents some sort of DHARMA group. He knows that Ben was the one who helped facilitate the hostile takeover of the island and wants him dead/captured. Naomi is the military expert to deal with the Others being armed. The other four were chosen for their specific abilities, so they would most likely be doing a quick assessment of the island (possibly for a second DHARMA operation). They had gas masks, so they were going to gas the island/barracks compound.

That is just my guess.

^ All the others had were names of the people on the plane and they were able to get tons of information on all the passengers. If Michael somehow made it onto the freighter thats all the information he would have to relay to Ben. And the black guy said there were no survivors to Naomi right? What if they picked up Michael in the ocean, that would be well after. Perhaps thats how they know that people survived the crash in the first place. Maybe he is double crossing the freighter people.

And I'm not saying they HAVE to be in Jacks group to be one of the Oceanic Six, Hurley isn't in Jacks group at the moment but he is one of the Six. I don't think they are making it off the island till this seasons finale, theres still a while to go, lots to happen. But I am pretty positive that Jin and Sun will be two of the six. They won't do another birth on the island and they won't kill off Sun. That would leave next weeks episode to reveal the last member. Of course next week could reveal Sun in the future, maybe only one of the two make it off the island. Jin could sacrifice himself for the baby, rather then letting Sun do the same.

the point of that scene was just to show how asian dude could communicate with spirits and such.

the nature of this show makes you try to read too much into things sometimes and make connections that dont make sense just for the sake of making a connnection.

^^ I'm not sure who's house it was - my tv is pretty dark and I have bad eyesight, anyone have a screen cap of it? And yes, it was flashbacks. He was talking about Juliet when talking about the flight manifest.

^I didn't think it was anyone important either - at first I thought maybe it was Walts house and it was his grandmother who just found out he died on the plane, but thats when all the picture looked like was a black kid, then I got up to look at the picture for the second time and saw he was much older.
The only reason I think its of any importance is because the camera did focus on the picture for a second.

i just rewatched the episode...

they showed the pictures in the house in Inglewood for a reason...

One of the pictures was of a black boy in an outside environment and it looks exactly like Echo when he was a boy (from one of the echo episodes)

we never saw him born in Africa... The first time we saw him, he was a young boy in Africa...but that's not to say he was born there.
I think he was born and lived with his grandmother in Inglewood...and then somehow went to Africa...

It was not Mr. Eko. Most of the pics were of a kid, the kid wasn't fat as hell like Eko was when he was a kid. Plus Eko is from africa, why would he be there. And Mr. Eko is spelled Eko.

At the point the black guy was talking to Naomi they might not have known if there were survivors, or he didnt want to tell her as it would complicate things. If they had picked up Michael he could have told them he was a survivor from the plane and that would explain why they weren't shocked to find others.
