Sendek will never understand working the officials. Game was on one of the FSN's, and there was a lot of contact on ASU's last shot and no call. If you work the officials skillfully throughout a game, there is a good chance you get that call. K and Roy both get that call and would have won this game.

that opening game at the Maui Invitational was the Sun Devils' first game of the year. out of the 300+ D1 programs, the Sun Devils had the 7th latest opening game. everybody else in the MI field already had a game or two under their belt.

and it didn't help that UofI started the game with a 20-0 run. the game was actually very competetive for the remaining 35 minutes

Dude, they lost to Sacred Heart... I know the coach of Sacred Heart. They are barely D-1 quality. Even playing in the NEC should tell you something about that team. Losing to UNC by 25 is much better than losing to Robert Morris at home. You act like Seton Hall is a great team or something...

And yet they are averaging more points than our team with more NBA talent is.....

You can say what you want but Herb has improved that program drastically in little time. Has Sidney done the same here? Not yet but hopefully he will.
