pretty good considering the hell that went down saturday and sunday for this project

yeah i mean lunch was rice, kimchi, these things i dont know what it was but it was like rough beans that were hot as balls, these things that looked like cubed potatoes that weren't but were hot as balls, a squid and sticky rice tubes thingie, and a soup that had all kinds of unknown things in it

i mean i love korean food and all but korean pizza is just weird


for instance, the two saturday were:

mushrooms, potato wedges with black chicken slices on top, green peppers, onions (so far so good, a little weird, but ok... and now it gets kinda gross) peas, pickles, some sort of indeterminate sauce.

the second was similar to one i had in china that was not bad actually
curried shrimp, crab sticks, octopus, broccoli, onions, peppers, and a butter sauce

i mean, neither were bad per se, just a weird fucking combination of tastes.

dinner tonight is going to be baller

some of the corp. big wigs are in and we're all going together.

and sicne i dont really have any other place to post this and maybe you two will get a lol out of it, i think i almost gave myself a concussion at dinner last night

we went to this tiny place way up in the mountains with a spectacular view of downtown ulsan, with the most succulent roasted then bbq'd duck breast i've ever had

it's one of those places where you take your shoes off, and the tiny tables on the floor, etc

well when you go to take a piss, there are community sandals in the bathroom so you dont stand on piss floors in your socks

so anyways im standing there with goofy american feet in gelly sandals that are about 15 sizes too small when i walk out of the stall, forgetting that the door was only ~5'8" to the top of the frame.

never in my life have i heard that cartoony hammer on a coconut sound before when someone hits their head.

flashed white, ears started ringing, kinda dazed, almost fell over into the toilet

staggering, head pounding, made my way out and composed myself in the taxi on the way back to the hotel

i didnt die though, but i got a hell of a knot
