I don't know if it's true or not, but the radio said most of the ACC doesn't use the zone. They might start against state because they can't shoot, but hopefully if they don't there will be more dribble penetration and one on one's for JJ...or whoever is getting near the rim. It also doesn't help the 3PT% when Fells gets hurt, Horner is out, and Degand is out (I don't know how well he shoots, but I'm guessing he's ok)

It's true. The ACC traditionally plays nearly all man-to-man...watch a lot of Big 12/Big 10 games and you'll see a huge difference in style.

That being said, we're going to see a lot of zone this year because it's going to work against us.

a) its just a sport, no reason to give yourself a heart attack to watch other guys throw a ball around

b) weve won 7 in a row, i dont care if it was against girl scouts or 7 straight UNCs, its still winning

c) be thankful we arent a NCCU and can only win 1 game in 22 attempts

at least we pretty much dominated them tonight. we didn't win by 60, but it was still a decisive victory. I was standing behind the Central cheerleaders... after our dance team performed some guy further back yelled "that was much better than a step team". Otherwise people just kinda laughed at them. Their outfits didn't exactly cover much either.

i really hope fells is ok, having him and horner out simultaneously is rough. Plz to make more of your 3s Trev.

PG can be the most important position as the season gets longer, and we're certainly re-building at that position to say the least, with losing a graduating Atsur and losing our projected starter Degand to injury...Javi looked better tonight than I expected but going into the season we all knew PG would be our biggest question mark...luckily we have some versatility where if we really need it Grant can bring it up, and assuming Fells isn't out for the year, he can do that as well. From day one though when I saw Hickson play, I knew it wasn't over til it was over this year

^dont know if you knew this or not, but when you or anybody else at the game is on the RBC scoreboard, you're also on the accselect.com site's streaming feed...the cameramen were shooting down from above at cleavage and shit

So now it is Herb's fault his 5* PG Chris Wright and 3* PG Jamelle McMillian were not picked up by Sidney? Maybe Sidney should have tried to get these two instead of Degand and Javi. I even read/heard that Sidney didn't even put much effort into getting Wright.
