I don't know why hosting is out of the question
Our RPI is just a few spots lower than ECU, we are higher than them in all of the polls, with a decent showing at FSU and a fairly deep go of it in the ACC's we should still be able to get in

I just think it was a long shot for us to host in the first place (UNC), but if we can pull into the top 10 than it is a definite possibility. You are correct though, 2/3 @ FSU and a run in the ACC tourney should do it.

ecu was also swept by tulane this weekend, that helps alot
rivals.com most recent ranking (may 7th) still has us hosting
this ranking also had ecu projected but with them getting swept I don't see them getting one
I sure hope we can host this year, I will make a point to come up to see that

I knew ECU lost on Friday, i had NO CLUE that they got swept... haha that is awesome. Tulane was RPI #51 before the weekend series, so yeah, their chance of hosting isn't looking good.

I sure hope we get to host, I guess we'll find out May 26th (i think that is selection day).

I got to catch our at first miserable but then laughable game against A&T Tuesday (my 1st all year) and I want to say damn we can score some runs. Especially after yesterday's score!

Also, kudos to the shirtless gentlemen in the first row of GA seats. Single handily won that game. Forget what the score would have been, you guys killed A&T without scoring a run.

Saw the 12-2 score in the Greensboro paper this morning and I hope this weekend will be as sweet as that moment throughout.

While I noticed how slow we are on the base path, I think we have a good shot to beat anyone anywhere. I would love to catch another home game this year, so GO PACK and bring home the goods boys!!
