from the factory the stock turbo is only waste-gating 3 of the 6 cylinders; drilling the other volute helps balance & lower the drive pressure on the turbo.... more power can be achieved

if you pull the manifold, and want to spend the time - get a die grinder/dremel and go to town on the inner surfaces and smooth that bad boy out... results may vary (i've heard 100-200 egt drop, no clue on the validity)

I actually thought about doing something like that. I can only get so far up with a handheld dremel/die grinder but any smoothing should help. A guy on DTR also suggested I check the bolts around #1 and #6, apparently those stock manifolds have a tendency to shrink over time

You weren't there for 2 hours and if you were you did not bring the BMW out. I only saw domestics and lifted trucks. I kept an eye on the field and although I saw many lackluster as well as nice examples of dragsters I did not see your car or you. How hard is it to find someone within an 1/8th mile.
