Locks to advance - Barcelona, Chelsea
Advantage - Arsenal, Porto

Man what a game for Chelsea. Ivanovic played a great game. Cole looked lost for the first 30 minutes. Drogba missing 2 great chances, I thought could doom Chelsea.

Liverpool looked flat after Torres' opener. Just need to stand pat at the Bridge, no Terry could hurt though.

Now lets take this into the derby with Bolton this weekend.

it's been a miracle sort of season for Liverpool, and they did score 3 goals in 6 minutes against AC Milan in 2005 (albeit with a lot of different players)...I really wouldn't be all that surprised if they pull this one off

I'm not saying it's going to happen, of course...just that they're going to come out firing, and Chelski had better watch their step

Not with Gerrard nursing his groin they don't.

Shit's over and done with, boys. In the history books. Lolverpool flames out again.

chelsea was predetermined to win the league anyway. liverpool losing is just fate.

will liverpool or bayern make monumental comebacks?!?! my guesses are no. but we shall find out today.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE ACTION:
• Chelsea v Liverpool (1445 EST)
• Bayern v Barcelona (1445 EST)

liverpool have the easier task of a huge uphill battle as chelski will be without their captain, terry. though, pool might be without a groin strained gerrard. so both teams could have makeshift captains.

bayern were out of this competition in the first half of their game with barca. i see no chance of them making a historical comeback.

i really hate drogba. he was injured off the field, then rolled back onto the field so he could stop play. should be a yellow card...

Help me out with the away goal tiebreaker rules.

Chelsea won on the road 3-1 in the first leg.

What if Liverpool wins on the road today, 4-3?

The total from both games would be 6-5 Chelsea, but would Liverpool advance since they had more away goals?

away goals only count if the aggregate is tied

and if those are tied... they play extra time (where extra goals still count extra, which I think is bullshit)

ivanovic is going to feel like shit if chelsea ends up losing, even after his huge contribution last game.

you mean cech, not ivanovic, right? cech gave up a WEAK goal. ivanovic was just doing typical defending on a set piece.

the radio guys have been talkin about the ref calling every little thing... this ref is from Spain and refs in the English league would've been a lot more lenient
