McCain's choice in VP is all but a noose around his neck. He is obviously already suffering from dementia.

i kinda hate to say it...but i like her hair
8/29/2008 8:23:00 PM
Palin is in the middle of a major scandal. She has very little experience. And that is relevant this go around because of McCain's advanced age. It also undermine's McCain's criticism of Obama's inexperience. She is only going to make McCain even OLDER and out of touch by comparison. She is also anti-choice and creationist. That's going to make her a tough sell with moderates and put out Hillary-crats.She is just a rotten choice.

according to treetwista in soap box...obama has 52 more months of experience than her in the state house
8/29/2008 8:55:23 PM
yeah but being mayor or being on the city council isnt the statehouseobama has more years of experience as a senator than she does as a governorbut her council + mayor + governor years > obama's senator years[Edited on August 29, 2008 at 8:57 PM. Reason : .]
8/29/2008 8:57:18 PM
I don't know what I think about her experience. She has had a very short term as governor of a state with a relatively small population that is a bit removed from the rest of the US. And she was "the mayor of a town with a smaller population than some apartment buildings in New York," as one of my friends put it. I don't know how much that counts for.But I do not think that she is going to win any votes for McCain. (Not that I want him to win any votes.)[Edited on August 29, 2008 at 9:04 PM. Reason : .]

TSB is full, this one has to stay in chat chat
8/29/2008 9:08:25 PM
after reading her bio, I think she should win some votes for him but her as his choice for VP just reeks of pandering to hillary supporters so much so that I don't think people will pay attention to what she has actually done in office.^^^, my quotes were not supporting her or attacking her. just pointing out interesting things in that article.[Edited on August 29, 2008 at 9:10 PM. if you dont think there are women who will vote for her or who wouldve voted for hillary because they're women, or there are blacks who vote for obama because he's black, or there are whites who vote for mccain because he's white...then you're pretty naivenot to say that everybody is like that by any means...but come on, get a clue]
8/29/2008 9:13:22 PM
the problem with a lot of educated people is they dont realize how dumb the rest of the US is
8/29/2008 9:18:41 PM
I am female and I am Republican. The Republican party will not get my votes this time around.
8/29/2008 9:18:43 PM
I saw somewhere that she has 12 years of experience in a leading executive position, anyone know what that was? Also saw someone mention that a governor does more work and decision making in a few years than many senators do in their tenure. I like it. I really like what she's done as governor and think that along with straight-talk no-bullshit McCain they will do wonders for the country and get a defunct Congress to actually take action and make decisions.Obama will...be the first black president. And hope for change. That's about it, right?

^^that's the vibe i've gotten from him. He seems to the point and doesn't pander to any audiences, unlike Obama who won't answer a hard question if its above his pay grade.
