We battered him pretty good with our destroyed everyday lineup. Can't complain. Guy is an ace.

Disappointing that Wright made the error, but that was an in between hop and he has been nasty recently in the field and at the dish...

I was at the game last night and I have to say, this loss rests squarely on the shoulders of Manuel and Wright.

Don't get me wrong, I love Wright and he contributed plenty through the game, but without his bases loaded error the Phillies wouldn't have been able to tie the game

I also didn't like the decision to take KRod out. He'd been in 2 somewhat easy innings, which is a lot for him, so I don't blame Manuel too much for this, but he should have stayed in the game for the 3 best HR hitters on the Phillies. I don't care if he would have had to bat, there were 2 outs and no one on, and I don't care if Martinez got a hit either.

Doubtful. He is 19 games over .500 in 162 games as manager now and the team they are trotting out there is basically a AAA lineup once you get by Beltran/Wright.

I don't like the guy, but he isn't going anywhere.

** And seriously, this choke thing is getting old. The Mets are a .500 team with the lineup the way it is right now. Injuries hit us hard. It sucks, but that is the way it goes. Just have to hang around the Phils/wild-card teams and pray Reyes [, Delgado, Maine, Perez, Putz and Wagner] can come back healthy at some point...
