STFU, we would be shitting the bed if we beat them.

It's not like Wake is a perennial top 5 team.

I say rush it.

Wake hates Carolina almost as much as we do

I don't think it has much to do with rankings

still

who else thinks wake would have rushed if they were ranked higher

i think there's an unwritten code about rushing, now if it was a 1-2 game then ok, but wake fans just FSU'd all over themselves

I dont have a problem with it. They are going to be ranked top 3 and are 14-0. I'd eat my own shit to get that here.

its fine for wake to do it

but it will fuel UNC excuse making, about how they wouldnt have rushed the court and how its a special thing to beat UNC, etc

I don't blame Wake fans at all for rushing

They're certainly not used to things like that happening and beating Carolina is always a joy

Now if this happens next year and they rush, I probably would wonder

Well if we have to lose in Winston Salem....
to get a national championship so be it. That is usually what happens when the Heels lose there. Oh yeah, don't you guys just love this league expansion where we continue to play road games without the return visit? No opportunity for revenge with one of your oldest rivals. Oh don't get me started on that. Goodnight Heels. The sun will come up tomorrow!"

sure thing there buddy

Remember when UNC beat us in football a few years back, when both of us were unranked, and rushed the field?

Haha. It was a good game. Carolina couldn't buy a basket there for a while. I'm not a big teague fan though. Be reminds me of some of the thugs unc has had in the past."

"A little bit more came out of this than just another run of the mill UNC loss. Did anyone catch Deon Thompson screaming in Roy's face during the timeout at around 6 minutes to go? He then turned and screamed at one of the other players, and went out on the floor woofing at Green, who according to the announcers, told him to "just play". He came out soon thereafter and never played again. I have never seen anyone go off like that on a UNC head coach"

^haha, you know that truly is 99% of what i got out of this game

1% was 'yay unc lost', but the rest was... "shit,,, there will be a guaranteed 2 more losses in the acc for us"

According to Ellington, Carolina once again didn't want it badly enough. In fact, they expected Wake Forest--the fourth ranked team in the nation--to "roll over" for them.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I know it's not possible, but I desperately want UNC-CH to lose, lose, lose in the ACC. I think it would be interesting to see how many losses this delusional bunch of bitches can sustain before one of them finally admits they got outplayed. Not "out-physicalled" but outplayed...you know, the word that's actually in the dictionary.

for some reason I just cant get into college bball this year. I mean, Tennessee is playing freaking Kentucky tonight and I didnt even notice until about 20 minutes ago. Not sure what it is... excitement over Kiffin and his staff and already looking forward to how different next year will be (good or bad) from the Fulmer years or if its because the SEC is down a lot this year and Tennessee is so damn young that I know they wont get too far in the tourney this year...

just blah.

might pick up when bball is the only thing on TV here in a few weeks

oh shit, State game is on too... didnt even notice that either, dammit

54 points for Meeks a new school record. That's saying something when it's Kentucky.

Meeks was 15-22 from the field including 10-15 from 3pt (new school record, which broke the old one of 9 which Meeks had tied with Tony Delk during the Louisville game this past December) and 14-14 from the line. Meeks 54 points broke Dan Issel's record which happened on February 7, 1970, when Issel scored 53 points in a 120-85 victory over Mississippi. Some may bring up the fact that Issel didn't have the 3 point line, but it's still impressive none the less.

lol at Maryland making Zoubek look like an All American.

While he has improved certainly, he is still a total stiff.

Yeah they have no inside game at all.

Vasquez will light us up, but we still should be able to compete with Maryland....especially since it's at home.

What does Gary Williams do in the offseason? Honestly, I've never seen a coach do so little with a National Championship. Does he even recruit? Vasquez is the only guy that even looks ACC caliber on their roster.

I wondered how an ACC team could lose to Morgan State... and now I see...
