TIMOTHY FREAKIN TEBOW

Today I decided to welcome my saviour Tim Tebow into my life. Could Tebow be the third guy that the Jewish faith talks about coming in? You know the story. They looked at Jesus and thought he wasn't the real deal. They looked at Muhammad and thought he wasn't "the one". So now they've been waiting for the third guy. Perhaps it's Tebow. I was watching this thing on the History Channel about the end of the world and examined some of the things in Revelations. Well apparently the world is supposed to be coming to an end soon and they said it'd be sometime after the 7,000th year of the Jewish calendar, which we've recently ushered in. Tebow is here to save us all from the apocalypse.

Tim Tebow wears Russell Wilson pajamas.

SEC GOT ANOTHER HOME GAME, THATS WHY THEY WON

USC WOULD BEAT THEM

UT SUCKS PEE PEES

/trolling that the o wise one so awesomely predicted all of tww would do

Jaybee is so annoying that he pre-emptively complains about being argued/disagreed with. Why do you give a shit so much about how right you are (or how much you think you are, that is) and how wrong other people are? While there ARE some people that just like to argue with you because you're obnoxious, some people actually have legit opinions about the SEC's top-to-bottom conference not being as good as the Big XII (although I am not one of them) which will never be proven as true or false by one fucking national championship game.

^ you're probly right... One NC game wont decide it... and unfortunately, the Big 12 probly wont be able to send another team to the BCS title game for years to come.

the SEC will however... consistently.

Do you see anyone on here being smug about UNC winning the basketball championship?

Quit all the "SEC got a home game" crap

- so when florida beat ohio state in GLENDALE that was a home game too

- look what happened to alabama in their "home game"

- USC has no room to talk about "home games", they play in the rose bowl

yes I think USC could beat anybody in the ROSE BOWL

Florida is the team who beat the system and are national champions

I can't believe no one is mentioning that OU's defense kept Florida well under their 45 ppg average. OU could have ran away with the game early on if they had converted some of their opportunities in the first half.

That freak interception at the end of the 1st half I think was a momentum killer for OU. They had done a lot of things right during that half yet only got it in the endzone once. They must have felt snake bitten after that.

Yeah I keep reading people talking about the OU offense not showing up and this badass florida defense, maybe I was watching a different game but OU consistently moved the ball on Florida all night for the most part and made it look easy, they just couldnt put the points on the board and agreed that interception at the one yard line was pretty much the biggest play of the game. In a title game like that against two pretty even teams it comes down to who catches the most breaks and that was Florida last night.

the SEC buttlove is pretty annoying

I wouldnt be walking proud if UNC or Maryland won the national championship just because they are in the ACC

I wouldnt be spouting off if Michigan or Penn State won the national championship just because they are in the Big10

you see, they are my teams' rivals, so I dont wish success on them. SEC fans dont seem to have a problem with this. All of the Tennessee fans that I know are very VERY happy that Florida won the national championship, even though they waxed the volunteers ass consistently. They were rooting for Tim Tebow to win the heisman too. You sure as shit wouldnt see me rooting for Hakeem Nicks or Darryl Clark to win the heisman.

They just come on here to stir shit up on an NC State forum. Hell the one or two Florida fans that post on here arent being as overly proud of the Gators victory as the Tennessee and Alabama fans that post here are.

Did anyone besides me think that FOX did a shitty job with this game?

Thom Brennahan and Charles Davis are not the guys I want calling the national title game.

They got me confused as hell on that 4th and goal when it was really 3rd and goal and they were screaming "The sooners are going to go for it" I was like hell yeah they are its 3rd down!

probably because the bigger story is Florida's defense holding an offense that scored 60+ points in 5 straight games to a measly 14 points all night

FOX does a shitty job with every game they cover, they produce the worst sports broadcasts

My main problems are their horrible announcing combos, the terrible sound quality, that fucking robot, and the 1:1 game action to crowd shot ratio

The robot does suck. Did you notice how the announcers wouldn't even give a segway to a commercial break, it would just end all of a sudden?

^^ I think Fox does okay with Nascar and I have gotten used to their NFL shit like the gay ass robot that for some strange reason keeps coming back season after season.

They do however suck ass at any college sports (this includes FSN) and I hate, absolutely hate watching baseball on Fox. The announcers last night sucked ass especially the black guy.

Yeah

I know baseball is boring on TV, but they show more shit in the stands than they do on the field

Back in the good ol' days, they'd always show a wide shot of the defense between pitches

I think that's why it's hard for people to get into baseball on TV these days, FOX and ESPN (but especially FOX) do such a shitty job of showing what's really going on in the field. You never see shifts or movements by the defense, so you never really get a feel of what's happening beyond the current pitch.

Anyway

back in the day during baseball games, announcers werent afraid to just stfu for a little while and let you hear the sounds of the game...now they're too busy worried about promoting american idol and filling every single possible second with talking

thats why i like watching dodgers games...vin scully keeps it real

Yeah, that's another thing I hate and it seems to be worse on FOX. I hate when a play-by-play team turns their broadcast into a studio show. I don't give a fuck who you think the top five Heisman candidates are, or what you'd have done with a runner on second, just call the game on the field and leave the analysis to the guys who do the analysis.

I guess it's one thing when the game's a rout, but more and more, announcers just use the booth to pontificate on the world of sports.

Mainly Joe Morgan

Shut up, Joe Morgan

Spurrier only has one NC. Same with Miles. What about the old Miami coach that's at FAU now. I know he won at least one title with the Canes, but I can't remember if he won two.

God yes. I don't know how he has a job. Every baseball fan I know hates him. He "coaches" saying what he does or would do much like Billy Packer does in basketball.

Interesting enough I like his partner Jon Miller.

because people bitch about the SEC being #1, so SEC fans are just bitching back. There hasnt been a single time where someone said the SEC was #1 and then I turned around and rub the facts in their face, there's no point to that. But, if some fool say shit like "the SEC is only good on defense because they have shitty offenses" or "the SEC is overrated" then I will produce the facts to show them how dumb they are...

oh, and PLENTY of you defended the rest of the ACC/UNC when someone brought up the who's better in bball argument, UK or UNC. All I heard was "but but but UNC plays in the ACC so that more than makes up for the stats with Kentucky playing in the shitty SEC all these years" so yes, you all do it just as much, just not for football.

That's an example of a strong ACC making Carolina appear stronger

You're saying a strong Florida made the SEC appear stronger

I think you're getting it backwards

Besides, I don't see how Florida winning the NC makes the SEC have more depth than other conferences. One team does not a conference make.

yeah, so its a good thing that LSU won it last year, and Alabama has won a shit load, and Tennessee, and Georgia a few etc. or you would think its a one conference team. Good thing Florida is about 4th or 5th in the conference all time.

and I have no idea what you meant about it being backwards, if UNC hadnt won enough then the argument between them and UK wouldnt even happen so of course them winning is a part of it so its not backwards
