walmart in Zebulon had put out 2 cases of WWB 9mm, and a half case of 40 WWB tonight from the night truck. The guy who works the floor said that friday they had gotten 8,000 rounds, 2k of 40, 6k of 9mm, as of lunch saturday i got some 9mm and the last 2 of 40, by sat night they were out.

So while ammo is still harder to find, its out there, in bulk, when you do find it. Remember, 9 pm trucks come in, by 9.30-10 its on the floor, catch them before 10 pm and you can get ammo before the manger locks the keys up for the night. Thursdays/Fridays and Sundays are good ammo days, but they get some every day. One larger Walmart I talked to told me they get at least 20,000 rounds a WEEK of handgun ammo.

Yup, every ammo company is pretty much going 24/7. Orders are still waiting to be filled. Wal-mart increased their orders b/c of demand. Pretty much have to get there early to get anything these days.

Walmart in Cary at Tryon/Kildair farm has 8X 50 round packs of BB .40, 1 50 round pack of WWB .40, and 2 winchester '555' bricks of 22

Spent from 9.30-10.15 sitting at the counter, had a manager paged 4-5 times, got the store asst manager, not the CSM, at 10.15. She told me that since it was after 10, their store policy as a non super center store is that they cannot sell any ammo, and that it was 'supposed to be posted on a sign' The 2 folks on the floor I talked to, who paged for a manger before 10 pm, told me it was 'illegal' to buy ammo after 10 pm. Left empty handed, even having been AT the counter for 45 minutes, and had the manager run back up and stop me on the way out to ask 'is you loaded'

I definitely bought a box of 100 20gauge shotgun shells at Walmart last week at 10:15pm.

the 'official' WalMart rules, at least as I have come to understand them are this:

The gun policy is that they will follow local law

They will follow federal law, and check ID on all ammo purchases if they feel the need, to ensure that all handgun ammo is only sold to 21 or over folks, and 18 or over on other ammo.

Long guns, if sold by the one you go into, will, by store policy, be carried out of the store, to the door or to you car, by a manager or security associate after purchase.

Their sporting goods section is NOT manned during the 10 pm - 7 am time period. They have 2-3 folks during the other shifts who hold the keys for that section, and will unlock the cases and sell ammo. IF THEY LEAVE EARLY, or its after 10, the manager can go GET the keys from the safe. I have had some stores willing to do this, others not so much. Some stores keep ALL ammo in this case, others keep shotgun ammo out where you can just grab and go. if it was a " We cannot sell after 10 pm" the registers would not allow it to ring, just like registers will not ring alcohol purchases during 'blue law' periods of time. Most of the time if its between 10 and 7, the manager just walked the ammo to an open register for me, let me ring it up, and i was free to keep shopping.

The '6 box limit' signs are a corporate response to customer complaints over ammo being hard to find. We need more HAPPY phone calls made when we DO find ammo, so they can balance out the dozen of angry ones from folks who do not. They are NOT posted in every store, and are NOT uniformly enforced. Some do 6 boxes per visit per person, no matter what type, others do 6 boxes 'pistol' 6 'rifle', others do per day, others do a 'buy now, walk off, walk back, I will sell you 6 more of each brand' style.

ANY retailer or ANY employee of ANY store can refuse to serve ANYONE for ANY reason. They can refuse to sell you ammo, they can ignore you, they can sell it out to other customers if you made them made, and leave you with none. We must be ambassadors as gun owners, and help people not be afraid if we are OC, and anytime we hear a 'because its illegal' statement as a reason for a policy, we must correct them about ASSUMED laws that do not exist in our fine state.

All that said. Major WalMart restock trucks are a Sunday PM /Wednesday PM thing. IF you are lucks, you can catch them at 9:40-9:45 with a busy person restocking the case, and get your ammo fresh off the truck. If they do not get it on the floor, try at 7-8 am on Thursdays and Mondays. The early week shipment tends, in my experience, to sell out SLOWER, as the folks on Thursday just got paid, and the weekend cleans out the Thursday shipment. Be safe, be smart, and get your ammo where you can and stay stocked up. It sucks to go to the range and run out, its always better to have a few thousand in reserve.

Are those the 100rd loose packed value boxes of 115gr FMJ's dude? If so, they only cost $19 new at Walmart and there was a shitload of Federal Champion 115gr FMJ RN in 9mm at the Walmart in Brier Creek yesterday for like $9/50rds..... I figure people might miss it if it isn't in bold son.

What kind of Winchester 9mm ammo is this?

I don't make a habit of selling things for less money than walmart does I don't think 0.25/rd is a horrible price when people like PDHSC have been selling 9mm FMJ for 0.52/rd lately.

^you are just a jackass...

You offer nothing more than Walmart, so charging anything more would be retarded. PDHSC is a range, where everything is inflated. Thanks for sucking at life.

I am offering more than walmart. I can 100% guarantee that I have this in stock right now and you can have it. walmart won't do that.

they're like $22 each with tax at walmart, and I clearly want to sell all 3 together. If someone buys 3 for $75 I'll be making a wopping $9 for driving and meeting someone.

Walmart on new berne was out of 9mm other than 1 beat to hell box of WWB crap. I did find a fresh case of 22 LR value packs

These are the 550 round Feedral value packs. also have a few 555 packs of winchester, a few older 500 round and 550 round winchester packs, and a few Remington 550 packs.

If you need 22 bulk ammo, and have not been able to find some to feed you need, PM me, we can talk price/trades/etc.

its STILL blazer. as far as i know, the bar code matches up 1:1 with the old stuff, its scans the same, and I would bet money it made in the same plant on the same machines.

I got lucky once. Actually it wasn't luck, more like the sporting goods person telling me exactly what to do, but yeah...

They sold me a few cases of ammo and I was a happy camper.

I still have a good bit of .45 acp Gold Dot +P ammo that I'll trade for .45 acp FMJ range ammo, at a 2:1 ratio.

I'd also trade some of those Gold Dots for a box of 7mm REM Silvertips, or maybe some other good 7mm REM ammo (though I don't have much use for cheap, sucky rifle ammo).

I have 500 rounds for sale at $24.00 for 50. Please call me at 7874965 as I don't check this site very often.

Sorry to be an ass, but $24 for 50 rounds of reloaded 9mm is just stupid. You can get 50 rnds of new name brand premium JHP for $20-25 and shipping's been consistently around $10/order for everything I've bought.

If that's the case, I'd probably be willing to sell some of my Gold Dots outright and just order some range ammo.

Walmart Brier Creek has 180 grain .40 S&W Remington Supreme self defense ammo for $21, they only have one case though. I purchased a few to test out.

They have:

.22LR round nose target ammo remington
.25 special (or something similar) wwb
.380 wwb
9mm wwb 50 rd and a few 100 rd boxes
357 Sig wwb
.40 s&w (they have it all the time though)
223 Rem (LOTS OF IT) wwb and blazer (federal)

Fantastic prices on in-stock ammo PLUS coupon code. Rem 9mm 250pk-$51.99,Fed 22LR 525pk-$15.99,PMC .223-$6.10/bx....
All ammo was in stock a few minutes ago.

Use the coupon code 10off75 for $10.00 off on your $75+ order

http://www.shop.tmjtrading.com/Ammo_c3.htm

It's a little more than I normally spend, but hey $104.00 shipped for a box of 500 9mm rounds ain't that bad. Remington is pretty dirty though.
