The thing I love/hate about our team is that we have so many guys who are capable of putting up 20 points per game. Yet still every game it seems like we get big goose eggs from at least one of those guys. Thankfully lately we've had some big games from guys stepping up, but I would just love to see everyone come together. Specifically against UNC in the ACC tournament

uva got hot from deep and this teams gets so nervous.

what i find strange is that i feel way more comfortable with javi in the game, even though he turns the ball over a ton. His passes are always the correct pass, just not always crisp.

No he's not -- he's going to be better. He's already pretty damn good for a freshman, and he has actual basketball instincts and skills. The fact that he made those clutch shots as a freshman puts him in a different league of mental toughness compared to bennerman.

Guys like tracy smith and cj williams have more basketball instincts than any players we have had in a while.

Landesberg got hot, but those 3s were wide open because fells went under the screen. That worked the whole game because landesberg was not looking for the three, but when he finally had to shoot, he hit them. In other words, the game situation changed and we reacted a few plays later. Would be nice for our seniors to feel the game better and look out for situations that are likely.

So I had to go to work today, and I DVR'd the game and I was pretty sure I made it where it would record an extra 30 minutes after the normal time. Well I get home, watch the game, and I get all the way down to like 50 or so seconds and the thing cuts out on me. So I didn't get to see the end of the game, but I'm glad we won.

That's the reason I usually say wait til we get all Lowe recruits here. It isn't because I think they'll be all that much better than Herb's recruits. It's because I think they'll be mentally tough, which is something Herb's recruits have never been-->Horner missing game-clinching free-throws on 2 different occasions, McCauley turning the ball over in the closing minutes in multiple games, etc.

his great 3pt shooting today helped us get our big leads, and he only blew defensive assignements today a couples times...he's not to blame for the meltdown

javi got into early foul trouble and farnold had a knack for finding wet spots on the floor and fucking up his handle and costner just lost a relative and got dinged up (hopefully nothing serious)

horner and cj helped us build the big leads and yeah horner missed some clutch free throws, again, but he had a solid game overall

unc blew a big lead today, but unlike the wolfpack, they ended up losing the game...we can chalk up another one in the W column and move on

please show me where anyone said horner was good. we said he had a good game. there is a difference.

Also, i think it shows our team has definitely matured/grown since we can win with costner not scoring and fells only scoring 9.

That's part of the problem. Horner couldn't get a triple double in 3 games.....

Fucker is 6'9" and played 27 minutes and got 1 rebound. Javi rebounds better than him a foot shorter.

And we know how bad his defense is.....his man scored at will on him yesterday. How could you say otherwise?

Horners job is to sit out on the perimeter and knock down open shots

he did that and like others have said he had a decent game yesterday

No one is saying that horner is good
