that last ending had me going oh snap!

anyone read the book yet? will it satisfy my thirst to know what the fuck is going on if i read it?

Lots of people have read the book. There was discussion about in on the first few pages. Bottom line is there aren't a whole lot of similarities between the book and the show. It's kind of short, and it's probably worth a read if you like the show, but it's not going to spoil/answer any questions about the show.

i really hope that one ladies transition from good to evil is just a ploy and next week it'll start with her saying LOLOLOL JK!!!. i mean she did have all the information on the other girl, mary, which was a little too easy. she also knew how to follow simon and keep pace with him when he fled. but, i mean, damn, she was one of my favorites.

i did google and checked about 3 different sites. And since none of the first few i checked mentioned it, i simply asked.

Out of curiosity, did you know that it was just a flashback to a few years earlier? I thought that may have been the case, but was looking for something conclusive. - If you did, how much more time did it take to create the "let me google that for you" link and post it vs just posting "it was a flashback to a few years earlier."

somehow, it still amazes me how far out the way some people will go to be a douche.

Is it just me or has it gotten totally predictable when a good guy character is about to get KO'ed by one of the bad guys who appears out of nowhere, typically in their own house.

I don't know if i would say "good". But this second half (i'm guessing the break was at the halfway mark), has been better and more consistent imo.

Finally got caught up. This show actually isn't that bad anymore, it's improved a lot since the first half of the season. And they probably didn't wanna make the end in 2012 in case they get picked up for a few more seasons.

its entertaining but I find it a bit of a letdown that they "made up something" to combat the fact that there wasn't much of anywhere to go between flashforward and day of flashforward.

So now they bring in super flashers who have flashed tons of times due to frosts science, they start bringing in character flashbacks and they create several branching timelines that don''t seem to have any relation to each other (i know they do but it just feels gay)

I feel like the whole doctor and japense girl part is a complete waste but they are trying to show how the future gets changed with the garden of tangled path theory. The writing just seems really cheap in this show.

plus the actress who plays Janis is going to be on a new show that NBC picked up for the fall so i'm imagining that her character was either going to be killed off by the end of the season or she kind of suspected that the show was not going to be picked up for another season. or both

i really think Flashforward is better than V. it's a much more compelling story. i admit this show started miserably, but has gotten markedly better each episode, and has my full attention at this point.

i'm not sure there's much to be discussed regarding the ending. It was pretty much predicted from the get go that it would end with another flash forward (the season at least). And that's exactly what happened.

predictable season ending. mediocre (at best) first half of the season, decent second half. The show will be completely forgotten, and deservingly so, soon enough.

The only thing maybe a little interesting about the end was the variety of dates seen in the flash forward. - of course, we'll never know what that was about.
