A lot of the folks in my run club finish their long runs in one of the following excellent ways:1) Drink a cold beer in the shower2) Drink a glass of wine while taking a bubble bathIt's the perfect post-workout reward.

Well, when you're constantly exercising your metabolism is like a raging furnace. We can afford the occasional ice cream, wine, beer, etc. Olympic athletes consume like 3000+ calories per day.

10/26/2009 5:34:55 PM
~120lbs i need to gain some weight
10/26/2009 5:35:34 PM
if i get to 170 ill be cut as fuck, as much as i would like that the odds are perhaps slim. (i hate winter running and such)ahhh the joys of not going for a specific weight number! i mostly want to lose bf% for my woman and for swimming (just that much faster)
10/26/2009 5:58:42 PM
My ideal weight, assuming an appropriate but modest muscular build, is 200-205i've weighed as much as 290, and when that happened I woke up and dropped to 210 in about four months. I maintained that for a while...until I started working at bada. over the last two years that place has fucked up my sleeping, eating, and exercise schedule (not to mention the availability of tragically tasty unhealthy food) and I've crept my way back up to around 250. I'm now on the slow track back to where I should be, I hope to be 205-210 by this time next yeary'all hold me accountable please, kthanks
10/26/2009 6:09:17 PM
160 probably, sitting close to there now

Hey fatty! Jk, you do NOT have love handles and a pot. You're the Tall Lanky Bastard!
10/26/2009 8:37:17 PM
I saw 170 on the scale the other day and I wanted to go throw out all of the food in my fridge. I've started hardcore counting calories and trying to get off the soda kick. I only drink diet now and have tried to limit it to less than one a day, but getting off the caffeine is hard.I go to Curves gym at least 3 times a week, but I've been really frustrated not losing any weight since I moved back to Raleigh in August. My goal weight is 136, which is what I was before I left for college four years ago.
10/26/2009 8:39:40 PM
Doing a food purge of your fridge isn't a bad idea. There are certain items that I cannot buy bc I will eat too much of them. You're going in the right direction by limiting your soda intake. It's really bad for your teeth. If you drink diet, then the artificial sweeteners can make you crave sugar more.
10/26/2009 8:46:58 PM
i completely crave sodas but i don't keep junk around my house. i like to snack on crunchy stuff so i always have carrotts and celery.
10/26/2009 8:50:16 PM
after having all of <6 sodas in the last yearif i drink one now, it's gross as shit
10/26/2009 8:51:22 PM

Correct, what I'm saying is the "ideal figure" in ads like the I GOT RIPPED IN 4 WEEKS ads everywhere is a little too much for some peopleis preferable to for some peopleBut you can always be thinnerYou can always look better
10/27/2009 11:34:09 AM
^I would tend to agree with that.
10/27/2009 11:40:35 AM
^^ The top abs are sexier than the bottom, IMO. They look like abs that he developed while surfing, wakeboarding or playing some other sport. The bottom abs belong to someone who just spends a TONNNNN of time at the gym. He wouldn't have much time for a life outside of the gym, from the looks of those abs.
10/27/2009 1:49:59 PM
The difference between the two pics is only partially due to time spent in the gym. The biggest difference is body fat. (Of course genetics plays a role...)As for the OT, 185 was my heaviest. I was somewhere around 13% bf at the time. That was 2003.Over the past 6 years Ive fluctuated a bit, but it has been a steady decrease overall(though never with a higher bf%.) Due to across-the-board lifestyle, dietary, workout changes. For the past 9 months Ive maintained a weight between 162-170, with a body fat never going above 8.5%, lowest being 6.2%BEST. I'VE. EVER. FELT. IN. MY. LIFE.
