Changed the oil and vacuumed the lexus.

washed more mud off the undercarriage as well as the engine bay, and then washed the Integra. Also washed, vacuumed and Rain-X'd the S2000.

Should have changed the oil in the Integra but I went and played tennis instead

pulling the heads back off and replacing the head gaskets due to (2) oil leaks and a small amount of water in the oil. funny, takes no where near as long as much as I have simplified things.

New 02 sensor in the Mazda. Old one (had 160k+ miles on it!!!) was in terrible shape. Idling is smoother, throttle is noticeably more responsive, slight hesitation when the engine is warm has disappeared, and the exhaust doesn't smell like gasoline anymore. Best $17 I invested in that car

I also got some wiring insulators and wrapped a few coolant hoses in the Porsche that were rubbing in the engine bay. I took the throttle body apart for a "dirt" inspection. Damn thing was filthy, however having an exposed K&N filter doesn't help I'm sure. It's clean now though

Paid for my big turbo kit. It is now inbound. Garret 3071 t25 framed, internally gated.
Should be good for 425whp on pump. Install is planned for the first week in April.

^^^^That sensor was dirty! Isn't $17 pretty cheap for an O2 sensor? I thought those things were $Texas. 160k? The Integra still has its original so that's 280k lol

Well, it was a Bosch universal. OEM is about $43.xx , but it was directly plug and play whereas I had to splice one wire. It was no trouble at all.

LOL, it's all good man. I needed was a 22mm. The old sensor was all rusted and crap and my adjustable wrench was a pain since the o2 wasn't in the most spacious of areas. I somehow managed to make a 24mm work when it came to screwing the new one in.

Went from 215/60-15 Yokohammer AS-430 to 215/45-17 and 255/40-17 Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position. Rear traction is much improved. Cornering still sucks, more so now since the rears rub the fender... I'm gonna have to get them rolled at some point... (anyone wanna help me out? )

This will allow me to finally put those Brembo brakes on...

Sweet setup. I run similar. D specs but with sti springs/hats

made a world if difference after driving on blown struts for a season. Those rear extenders also help a lot.
Where u buy the setup from and how much $?

Purchased from different places...

struts from turninconcepts
springs from local guy off avent ferry
mounts were from subaruwrxparts.com

Mostly daily driving, but autocross 2-3 times each year w/ the Triad auto-x club ... Not sure how this year will go. Just depends on if i have time and money for tires. Main reason I put these on was because my stock struts were gone and I was bouncing around like a caddy.

These are sweet. I'm taking corners at speeds I've never been at before in my car. Kind of scary, but kind of empowering.

I can't wait to buy new struts, mine are blown to crap so I feel ya on the caddy statement

looks like it will be middle of may before i can get them though

putting in STi steering rack this weekend and new steering rack bushings

mine's leaking all over my headers and it looks like my car is on fire at stoplights

The car runs mid-high 13s now with 240-250 whp.
12s shouldn't be a problem, and is quite regular with this setup.

If you run a 12.5 on street tires with FWD I'll pay for your run.

That is an awesome turbo though. I would love to have it. I'm not trying to be mean I just know how much FWD sucks with >250ftlbs of torque.

I'll be in range of 360-380ish wtq.
From the people that I have seen with similar setups, they run 12.4-12.8 and trap in the teens to 120s.
That is without slicks.

As it is now, when I spool I spin half of first (lag), and then a good bit of second (lag again), and can spin a little of third if I try.
I've only been driving manual (again) for about a month now, so my shifts are just starting to pick up speed and smoothness when getting on it. For the last 4 years I have been driving an auto.
This car had a manual swap and limited slip put in, as well as a new motor with pistons, rods, intake cam, and head port and polish.

the dakota got a junkyard headlight switch today. i was gonna splice in the connector from the junkyard, but i couldn't find any issues with the one in there, so i'm gonna see what happens.

i also changed the oil and forgot to check that the old oil filter gasket didn't stick on the adapter in the block. that was a big rookie mistake. it held pressure at idle and i thought everything was normal. i heard it start spraying when i pulled out of the parking lot. i shut it off immediately and put it in neutral and rolled it back in the parking lot. fixed the filter, drained the oil, and refilled. aside from having a coat of 10W-30 all over the right front fender well, exhaust manifold, suspension, etc., i guess it's alright now. i felt like an idiot.

^lol, glad it worked out.

Integra
-Cleaned the K&N air filter (splattered with mud from RallyX)
-Changed the oil (mobil 1) and filter (first time in 16 months, but only 8000 miles or so)
-removed (with chisel and hammer) about 10-12 additional pounds of mud/dirt from the front subframe/suspension/brake assemblies (again from RallyX)
-removed lightweight 15" wheels w/high performance all season tires and replaced with 14" OEM wheels with Azenis (that I haven't driven on in 5 years lol).
-checked front brake pads and noticed passenger side pads are wearing QUITE unevenly. Probably due to a shitty replacement caliper (only 2 years old). This probably explains the slight pull that occurs when I initially touch the brakes.

it should be one of those mistakes you only make once. the oil trail through the parking lot is epic. i almost expected a nascar clean-up crew to roll up in a truck spreading oil dry and a sweeper to come by and clean it all up.

when i drained it i still had about 2.5 qts i think, which would only be 1 qt low, so all i'm worried about is damage from low oil pressure

i see no issue with MD's ride going mid 12's on street tires easily. especially with any kind of progressive/multi-stage ebc. it sure as hell better go that quick with 400+ whp, anyway. hell, i went very deep into the 13's in a stock turbo/full weight/open diff fwd dsm on some generic 205 all seasons that didn't catch any traction until well past the 60ft. mark. it did have a home made two stage mbc setup to help a little with launching it, but i can't imagine that it was making any more than 250fwhp on the high boost setting.

as for torque steer, do late model vw's have equal length half shafts or no? if so, i doubt it'll be any big deal.
