Regarding Wayne Ellington, I always thought it was evident that if his immediate family wasn't affluent, somebody in his family was because he was a snob. But, man, it would be so sweet to catch a well-to-do family getting unfair advantages.

It's no fun when you catch a booster giving some player's brother a pair of new shoes and a few free nights at the Days Inn to come watch the tournament.

A half-million dollar home though? Come on, please let there be a scandal here or at least kick off a team-wide investigation that comes to no real conclusions but discredits the program anyway...

I really hate pulling for Duke, but I hope that they beat the shit out of UNC tonight, just for Roy's sake.

I've meet both K and Roy in person without many people there. K was polite, approachable and genuinely nice (can't believe that I just said that; I just threw up in my mouth a little.) Roy acted like a dick because there wasn't a camera around. Its seemed like he wanted to be somewhere else, and he talked in a condescending manner to everyone.

His postgame comments after this L were interesting too, basically placing all the blame on the team- "if they're gonna start feeling sorry for themselves, I don't think they will, but we gotta play"- see how he blames the team then disqualifies it to make it appear that he still supports them? Here's that quote again from him after UVA on Jan 31st:

To be honest, 3 more L's including one in the Roy Rink to Duke. Seems like you are the one feeling sorry for yourself, Roy. Apparently even sorrier than you are for people suffering from a severe natural disaster which has killed well over 100,000 people. I've never seen such a spoiled cry baby as a major college coach- but it kind of reflects the UNC fanbase. How can his players possibly work hard for him knowing the shit he talks about them to the press and how he refuses 99% of the accountability for the team's failures? Quote of the month from my roommate/no-real-reason-to-be-but-hardcore Carolina fan: "I'm ready for football season." UNC has a lot of championships but Roy and "his" fans are severely lacking in testicular fortitude.
