Judge dismissed Mayfield's suit against NASCAR so essentially the saga is over

it aint over.
Quote :
"NASCAR last June countersued Mayfield and accused him of willfully violating its substance abuse policy, breaching his contract and of defrauding NASCAR and its competitors of earnings.

"At this point, nothing has changed on that matter," NASCAR said Tuesday of its countersuit. "We will evaluate our options going forward."

anyone ever been to a race at the Brickyard? I've got a friend moving out there and I am trying to decide if it would be worthwhile to plan a trip and head out there for the race. If the Brickyard isn't anything special, I'm just gonna wait til football season and go out there to see a Colts game. so anyone know how the Brickyard is?

Where is the best place to get scanners and headsets? I have been borrowing my boss's lately but would like to get a set for me and my wife.

i got this one from radio shack about 5 years ago. if you got to ALOT of races it might be worth the money to get a sprint fan view. maybe check ebay for used ones of those but if you just want a scanner i'd go with this.

Just got back a few hours ago from the race. Sat between turns 3 and 4. I'm not sure what to think of the All Star race. On one hand the last 10 laps were exciting. However, the majority of the first 90 laps were kinda bleh. There were some good battles but they got pretty spread out. Thank god for the 10 lap shootout segment. I wouldn't mind it if they went back to the old 30/20/10 format. At least get rid of the 50 lap segment.

The Showdown was decent. Good for Truex.

Kahne's car was terrible. Too bad. Hopefully the team steps up for the 600. I'll be at that one and the nationwide race next weekend.

Yeah the turn four terrace. Our seats are in the same area for the 600 also.

The Hamlin move was similar to what Jimmie Johnson did to Harvick at California. It was funny to watch the replays of Kyle Busch blowing up.

so did you watch the entire induction ceremony? theresa earnhardt sounded like a total idiot to me. she quoted about 10 people and things they had said about dale sr and all the quotes were pretty much the same. they showed shots of the crowd while she was talking and it seemed like people were rolling their eyes or wanting to roll their eyes. the whole thing seemed weird. she makes me

kelley earnhardt would catch a motorboat from nasty_b however

I'm not sure where we will be. There is 10 of us in a van so we will probably do pay parking and get closer.

Ok we are in Turn 4 Section TFFF rows 9 and 10. I have only been once but from the chart these look like bad seats. I don't even think we can see the start/finish line from there.

best seats i've ever had were when we went to the all star race in 05 and sat in the ford veranda. relative of mine gave me the tickets. had your own elevator, bathrooms, etc. i would never pay to sit there though i've also sat in General Motors and Ford grandstands. both great seats as well
