The news doesn't really report on stuff like this. My car got totaled in '08 when this chick slammed a truck into it and wound up plowing into the apartment next door. Not a peep in the paper or TV.

I don't condone her actions, but I don't know if I condone taking things up with her employer.

For the OP's sake some things are better dealt with through the court system and insurance companies. Who knows...He might get a judgment forcing her to pay restitution.
