1. Punches someone from VT, UNC, or Vasquez in the throat all year

2. Does it to a ref in a game that we clearly were never given a fair shake in.

As long as its not smith doing it to the ref. We can afford to lose anyone on our team, and we can afford to lose even smith for a game or so.

the refs didn't call a fair game, but it was turning the ball twice as often as them and shooting 40% on the game including 25% from three that did us in; not the refs.

Way too many turnovers + not making shots + Tracy not scoring = easy win for VT. Oh well ... wasn't expecting to win there. Nobody does. VT has only lost one game at home all year.

I didnt watch a second of this game, but after reading the last few pages of this thread it sounds like we are blaming yet ANOTHER loss on the refs. I know we've got the short end of the stick a few times this season, but come on guys, every single game thread spends half of the time bitching about how the refs cost us the game

either there is some sort of conspiracy and group decision made by the refs to screw us over every game, or we need to find something else to blame our loses on

I only watched the second half, but there were definitely some questionable calls. One particularly awful call went on Javi when Hudson just slipped and fell.

But every team gets shitted on by the officials from time to time. I think the reason we agonize so much over the BS fouls is because State has absolutely no room for error. One or two shit foul calls can make or break the game for us. NC State is most likely the least talented team in the league, so they need all the help (and non-shit calls) they can get.

I don't think everyone was blaming the referees. Our shitty guard play lost us the game with our 20+ turnovers and missed wide open shots (including layups), but the officiating was absolutely awful and it seems like NCSU never gets the breaks that some teams get. I know having better talent would help that a lot as we'd force teams to foul us more, but there were some laughable calls tonight.
