Playing him a bit more, I'd argue that he's a stronger mid than bottom. I see most people doing the standard AD/support bot lane, taking heal/flash. I've been going mid with teleport/flash, and he's very strong there. His harass is unparalleled and he can set up kills at 6, assuming you land all your skill shots.

Only problem is that you get punished hard for any overextension whatever. He has no escape and no way to survive. In that sense, he's similar to Ashe, but Ashe can kite.

Ok so the store UI in this game is nearly as shitty as Diablo 3's skill UI.

Right now I am sticking to recommended items.

My question is, should I just wait to have enough gold to purchase all the 'parts' of a recommended item? If I do that, can i just double-click the item and it will auto-buy it? Or do I have to buy each individual part?

A lot of guides and tutorials say get 'x' when you can afford it but don't go into any detail about the sub-items or managing what you have in your inventory.

Right now I stick with the initial life steal sword and then the boots when i can afford them (the 'tier' one boots). Beyond that I sometimes get the crit gloves, but most of the time i just buy parts of the recommended items willy nilly.

i would probably check out guides for whatever champion you're playing on mobafire. essentially type in "gangplank build" into google, and it should be the top result. they have pretty good graphical guides that gives you an idea on what skill order you should be putting points into and what items you should buy in what order.

i typically wait till i have enough gold to buy the finished item, but if i find myself needing to recall due to being weakened in battle, i'll buy the partial item just to get an extra boost in the meantime.

Mobafire blows pretty hard, I'd really recommend solomid.net for guides. Many a shitty AD Warwick has been spawned as a result of terrible Mobafire guides.

Yes, you can double click the complete item.

You should always be buying partial items if you don't enough gold for the full item, but which item you buy depends. If you've got 500 gold, sometimes it's better to buy a few wards than a Doran's blade or something. The gold you'll end up earning from being able to lane without worrying about ganks or actually getting ganked far exceeds the cost of the wards.

Never assume vs Ai means much. The bots are pretty terrible. Just get the mechanics and build down

CLG.eu being by far one of the best teams in the world, and NaVI not being a slouch.

^^ only problem with that guide being that it uses the old masteries, but yes solid item build and chauster is an amazing player, listen to him

I am pretty good with ashe, i basically use this item build

http://solomid.net/guides.php?g=17118 except i replace the sash with different things depending on the team make up and how good/bad they are. With ashe, don't go back. Learn to last hit, don't be stupid and try and get kills. If you are bottom you won't get a kill unless a teammate initiates until you get your ult (or if they are just bad). Keep track of your mana, i think the ult at lvl 6 is 150 mana and it does 250 damage, so if you have flash and 150+60 mana you can flash in use your W auto attack once or twice and then use your ult and get a kill.

If you are mid (which you shouldn't be unless your team build is retarded which is common lol) then idk i can usually get kills by like level 4 just using W to harass them (shit does mad damage at low levels) and letting them push so that you have space to kill. DO NOT AUTO ATTACK MINIONS, until mid/late game when you can either do like 50%+ health in one hit or you aren't in still in the laning phase

You see, I've learned that early harass with Ashe W can be a double-edged sword. Sure you might hit the champ, but you also risk hitting a ton of mobs as well. If they are even slightly intelligent, they are also just trying to last hit, which means you end up being the pusher. . . and pushing mid with a squishy is bad mojo. Maybe there is a strat to help combat this?

Loving Ezreal in 5v5s. Starting to get called a smurfer. Just had an epic ulti that started a fight resulting in an ace for us. I got assists on 4/5 of the kills, and got the 5th kill myself. He is so fun.

You get 400 at the start. Other then that, I don't believe so. But i havent been playing but for a couple of weeks.

Definitely a good call on the exp bonus with the RP. I bought the 3 day bonus, went from level 13 to 15 tonight super quick. Should be able to hit like 17 or 18 tomorrow.

I usually try to harass and get them to around 300-350 health then get an auto attack or two off on them then finish with the ult at lvl 6. Don't use your W every single time its up.

i am on an epic losing streak against bots.



if you play this game, you cant be distracted at all. Do you guys find it difficult to sit down and play straight up for 40-60 mins at a time? If you have to get up to take a piss then you get behind a couple of levels

I usually carry with Varus. Stopped going mid with him, though. I go bottom lane (usually with Soraka lane partner), take ignite/flash. With hp/mana regen from Soraka, Varus can bully like none other.

You get the custom skins by modifying some game files. You can use any of the official in game skins or custom ones. They only show up for you though, anyone you are playing against just sees the default.

I actually had the lowest number of wins in that game. I queued up with my girlfriend (she was the Janna in that game), and she has closer to 600 wins. Typically, when we queue together most people have 500-1000 wins.
