I do not think his bet is going to pay-off. Think even the "rumor" of selling out in hopes of a lock out will be very detremental for J-Rich's bottom line. This 2-14 year has burned many fans and pissed off a lot of seat owners/buyers, even more than if this was truly a "rebuilding year."

My thoughts were that if Jerry Richardson is "taking a year" off than I am taking a year off from being a fan. I bought my dad his traditional panther tickets for his B-day, other than that I have barely watched them play. Whereas in years past I have watched the panthers every week even when they did suck ass.

I mean I shelled out $3480 for season tix this year, and pretty much stopped going halfway through because the product on the field was pathetic

But as far as I can remember, going back to the inaugural season, Big Cat has been willing to spend lots of money to try and help the team every year except this one. I think he knows if he goes cheap again, then that will really hurt his bottomline.

I'm willing to give him a free pass this year because of the CBA. He won't get two free passes in a row.

I did recoup about half of that by selling tickets

from what I've read, one of the main reasons Luck is thinking about coming back next year is the possibility of a lockout. Just another incentive for Jerry Richardson to have a new collective bargaining deal in place before the lockout date.
