Still got two copies to get rid of and pretty much all of my friends have it already. I got me some really nice stuff the other day. All the highest dmg guns you can get in the game; finally bagged me the infamous x7 social conference call shotty.

Have y'all had folks coming into your game duping stuff and leaving? I have like 20 legendaries and some seraph weapons some dude dropped and peaced. I'm considering just leaving them with someone else; part of the fun of the game is getting the random drops. Being super OP is no fun.

I only dup stuff if I'm with a party of people and we work really hard to get a drop, but for the most part, everything I have was gotten fair and square.

It would be nice if they made an online only mode ladder and squashed out all the cheating, hacking and duping.

i want higher levelssss. also i want to beat the campaign of carnage DLC first. :X anyone have some legendary weapons they wouldn't mind parting with?

i can't fucking kill this god damn badassaurus rex. the only method i've seen thats been affective is hiding behind the stone wall under the gate and picking away at him when i can. but then i end up getting impatient and dying. i swear i've lost like 11 million on this dude.

but in summary, this game is fucking awesome

Borderlands 1 was fun, but the complete lack of a story (and, especially, the ending) kinda pissed me off. Should I get Borderlands 2?

Yep, the story is not purposefully back-seated in this game. The ONLY thing I hate about this game is that you cannot skip the random dialog that comes throught he Echo ... maybe there is a way but I just don't know how. Its nothing I really hate, per se, but rather a mild-to-moderate annoyance.

A game like this I play off-and-on, as I still play BL1 ... a few months go by and you just go on 3-4 day binge playing, then you lose interest ... the cycle continues. Or, a patch or new content renews interest, or a mod, or something in the gaming community makes you go back and play it for a few days. There are many reason to keep playing a game like this.

I too picked up season pass and the psycho pack during steam sales, played only a little bit of the Tiny Tina castle DLC one. Been involved with the Civ 5 BNW expansion that I got from steam sale as well.

Yes, this is a fantastic game for single player, even BL1 is great. I would highly recommend you cop it. However, the game livens up so much when you coop.

Borderlands -- at least on 360 -- was drop-in co-op. You can set your preference on the multiplayer screen; which allows randos, friends, or nobody to drop-in on your game. You can also use the matchmaker to find folks to join. I usually went about this in one of two ways:

1) Find someone who was currently working on the same active quest, so that I can advance the plot in my own game

2) Find someone a few levels ahead of me. Because enemies scale to your level, you could pick up a lot of XP and level faster.
