We are going to make a lot of offenses look good this year. The Bengals are pretty much the consensus worst offense in the league and we let them put 24 points on us in the first half. Yuck

for some turd with a silver lining shit, Persons earlier today made it sound like he was confident the Panthers are just being precautionary as far as Otah's health and that he should be ready to go for the regular season opener...but that Schwartz is more of a concern

also if you want any more blind optimism, Gross had a shitty preseason last year but somehow made the Pro Bowl, even though he's definitely overrated

Cam showed flashes in that 3rd quarter of what the team is looking for out of him.

It's always important to remember that he is in the preseason of his rookie year. Let's not go overreacting. This is a process. We just have to hope he continues to improve each week.

Our DB's and lack of WR depth are much bigger issues than any issue at the QB spot. We are not built to come from behind. Our D has to keep us in the game and allow us to set a tempo until Cam (or whoever is taking the snaps) can be consistent.

^Seriously. They flat-out ran all over us, mainly because our DT's get rocked at the line of scrimmage. Beason will help out some, but he can only do so much if he's got a 300+ Olineman in his face. Gonna be a lonnng year if we don't get some help.

Gamble wasn't good, but he wasn't awful either. He was actually in good position on the TD pass, Green just made a hell of a play. There's a reason he was called the best WR out of college since Calvin Johnson.

It also didn't help that our "new pressure-d scheme" got little to no pressure on Dalton
