my main desire for this is to have something i can use at my parents' house when they need something from the internet...which is getting to be more and more often...

i can do it on my phone but they are near 70 so it's tough for them to focus on my phone screen...

Ive always liked webos and for 100 these are a steal. I'm pissed though at the people I know who don't know what webos is and don't know what a touchpad is that are trying to buy one because of the media reports.

There was a news article on Google today where HP said they were going to have a second batch of sales on HP.com and you could sign up to get an email when they go on sale, and there SHOULD be some 16GBers available as well.

I just asked for 215 on my 32gb and it sold right away. Offering free shipping set me back 15 bones though. 6 for PayPal fees and 10 to ebay nets me like 25 bucks against fuel and time spent lol.

I suppose I could have waited it out but I didn't want to risk a flooded market and HP restocking. Stretched my budget with the extra one and local ppl wanted to pay me in Friday and such. It was a quick flip.

what were you comparing it to? An Atrix? If either the Sensation or Evo3D were 99 or 149 without contract I would have felt like I had gotten a pretty good deal.

^^yeah, my phone is an atrix and again im not saying it's a bad deal as I got my mom one. I'm just saying don't be all butt hurt if you missed out. the apps that run on it don't scale to full screen, the device feels underpowered before overclocking, and no one knows the state of the stock rom/bootloader, just food for thought.

Hahahaha. HP is shit. I've been trying to get into their website all day and log into my account. I tried like the 3 passwords I ever use, and it doesn't work. I just now try and recover my password, and I got "service unavailable." Now I can't even get to the login page as the page is now "Not Found."

At least I got the confirmation e-mail.
